Traditional Advent Calendar Christmas Snow Scene - Glitter Finish 24 Doors

Bought for my cousin who will be 85 on 1st December - she will love this trip down memory lane with its traditional picture and lovely glitter - no chocolate!

For my daughter who likes the old fashioned style.

The perfect traditional advent calendar, the picture is very charming and it’s a nice size to hang up!

I have always had an advert calendar at Christmas since I was a child. Every year we play a guessing game each day as to what picture will lie behind each door. Much prefer these to the chocolate ones you can get anywhere these days . Usually the pictures will be what you’d expect- Robins, Holly, candles, toys, Santa etc. This one takes the ‘traditional‘element to the max with a biblical feel to it . The pictures themselves are of a very vintage feel like Christmas cards from the 40’s/50’s. Lots of scenes depicting carol singers outside a church etc and vintage toy trains and the like. It thankfully retains a nativity scene for December 24th unlike so many calendars where this has been removed now being seen as not PC or racist against some religions ( let’s not get into that though as I find it most annoying). For £4.99 I found this calendar to be of good value as I was paying closer to £10 in previous years for similar products.

Great throw back advent calendar. Really traditional some great little pics in the windows.
