I sent this to my sons girlfriend, they are freshmen's in college, and in their first live in relationship.Having never met her face to face I loved this idea, and crossed my fingers! Lol!Turns out it was very well received! ⌒.⌒I will update later if there are any problems with the plant layer on down the road, in the meantime here's what I can tell you...***I offered to send what ever kind of food (fertilizer) the little plant may need. They are after all paying their own way in life, BUT apparently the little cactus is planted in some moss inside the pendent, (Don't worry it's not related to mold, or moldy smells at all) and uses the moss to receive it's nutrients, and needs no additional fertilizer outside of the moss.***The cactus includes directions for watering which is super easy! I suggested that she set her phone's calendar to alert her. ^_~*** Included with the cactus is replanting instructions, so in theory (if all goes well) this is a gift that can be kept for years, and years to come. Like a little smile. I plan to send one of those little wall mountable glass half bubbles for the initial replant. Which will give the little guy a small greenhouse to grow in. Until it's ready for a larger container. *Little tip from a green thumb farmer* ⌒.⌒***Overall we are very happy with this unique gift, and even though we may need to update later should the little plant go roots up, but as it stands --> We DO highly recommend! In person it is just as awesome as I had hoped for! Couldn't ask for a better way to "introduce" myself to my sons first adult girlfriend! (They live in AR, we live in VA. I use Amazon to send care packages)

It's nice and unique. I've had it since about September and it's almost outgrown its container. I've watered it about 6 times, or whatever the card said. I kept it hanging near a window when I wasn't wearing it until it got too cold here in MN. I also stopped wearing it outside. I keep it hanging off the bathroom mirror. Just took a guess that it would work there due to the humidity, warmth and brighter lights. So far so good. I plan to follow the included instructions and repot it this spring or when it's outgrown the dome. It arrived in the mail perfectly packed with a care card, magnet with a cute plant picture, and last time watered written on the card. I plan to order as gifts during the warmer months. I should also note it is very delicate. When I first received it, my 6 year old asked to feel it, and without thinking I said yes. She applied pressure as 6 year olds do, and bent the top leaf(I think it still called a leaf?). I just left it alone and it bounced back nicely, it even seems to have repaired itself. The injured part is the tallest "leaf" in the pictures. Fun necklace to have.Update: April 20th 2016Still alive and well. Probably will need to be repotted in a month or so.

It was neatly packed and with personalized care instruction card on it was a really nice touch. I waited several months on purpose before giving this review. Both my plants are alive and well and has shown new growth. I followed the instruction it came with. BTW do not place the plant in direct sunlight. I made the mistake first 2 days by hanging them where I had direct sunlight and lost 2 leaves dried up and die. I moved them to another location in a bright room with indirect sunlight, they start to revived. I soak them in water as directed but I use clear water from my fish tank for about 10-15 mins every 15-20 days. Very low maintenance. Now I am just wondering what to do when my plant out grow the container. I still have several months till that happen for sure since the growth rate is slow. Please advice me on where to get larger container?

I bought this necklace as a gift in Aug. 2019 and I wanted to wait to see how it did before leaving a review. My friend LOVES IT!!! It is so pretty and it’s growing. I would 100% buy this again!! She gets complements on it all the time!! It’s such a unique gift something you don’t see everyday!! Love, love, LOVE!!

This necklace is awesome! My husband and I love succulents, so we were really excited to receive it. It looks great, and the plant has plenty of room to keep growing for a while. This variety (anacampseros rufescens) is very slow-growing, so it's perfect for a necklace. The quality control is great. You receive a card that tells you when the plant was last watered, and it also has growing & watering instructions. You also get a cute magnet with a plant on it! I highly recommend this seller over the other one that sells plant necklaces. Their customers did not seem very satisfied. I took some photos of it next to a AAA battery for size comparison.

i just love these adorable little cactus i got one for me and one for my daughter and she loves it as much as i do . and so easy to water. just set in a bottle cap one 30-45 seconds and i left top off after u did thus . comes with instructions it’s a very nice gift for anyone or just urself

I'm very impressed with WearItCo. and this purchase. The necklace shipped very fast, only took a day or two after I placed the order. It came wrapped in a little pouch and they even wrote "Thanks Christine!" with a little heart on the sticker (see photo). That was a really nice touch. Inside was the necklace, a little pin, and an informational card. I bought this as a Christmas gift for my step mom and I can already tell she's going to love it! It's so unique, and a great price. I can't wait to see the little plant grow. I would definitely buy this again!

Got this for my momma for mother’s Day! It was a very cool “different” gift. I can’t say how well it holds up long term but so far she loved it. It came super fast, before said delivery time! That worked out great so she had it for mother’s day. I got it the Friday before. There was a small chance it wouldn’t be here until Monday but these guys must have known and rushed it right out. I recommend this for sure for any plant lover.
