Not worth the $$
When it arrived I was disappointed that the box had scuff marks all over it, as I had purchased it as a gift for a friend. Also, my friend had mentioned that more than half of the whole candle had burned in just a couple of hours. For the size of the candle, I had expected it to last for many more hours than it did. She did enjoy it, but I do not think it was worth the price.

The kids loved watching the T Rex emerge
The kids loved watching the T Rex emerge. It took about 15 minutes to see a hole in the candle, about another 15 to see a T Rex shape, and about another 15 minutes for the final object to fully emerge. The only negative was needing to ensure that the wick did not fall into the wax and burn out during those first 15 minutes. I would let the candle get to the initial hole in the top before bringing it into the kids presence; then they wouldn't have to wait so long and the problem I described would no longer be an issue.

Enjoyed. But thought it would take longer to burn down. It appeared to burn out within an hour and we missed it. However we like the candle and are keeping the dinosaur in The wax the way it melted.

Didn't really brun, had to dig the dino out.
The idea of this is cool, the Dinosaur it self is really cool and and the egg looks cool. The one I got only burned for about a hour before the wick put itself out, after relighting it burn for 5 to 10 min at a time, and just got to the point were we had to dig it out. I would say its still cool enough to buy just not for $40.

Dino was broken. NOT WORTH THE RISK/PRICE!
I was really excited about this and had one before that was perfect. This one though, the dinosaurs arm and leg was broken and we couldn't see that until it melted down. I also couldn’t return it because by the time we lit it and was melted down, it was past the time I could. I should’ve read the several other reviews where this happened. :(

Literally this was our Saturday night entertainment and my bf loved it. Nice glass t-rex inside with beautiful detail
