Took 3 coats to get full coverage - canceled out the price break
I spent a lot of time reading the reviews and was encouraged by the positive performance and company support testimonies. I am not a professional but a DIY’er with many years and flippers of experience.I REALLY wanted to like this paint because the 5 gallon bucket was about 1/2 the price of big box store top shelf paint prices and the positive words about the company’s customer support.I purchased the Swiss Coffee in low sheen for a bedroom that was previously painted in dusty gray blue.I’d describe the sheen as a little flatter than egg shell but definitely not a true flat like ceiling paint.I primed the room in Kilz 2. Next, this is where the frustration began. It took 3 (THREE) full coats of paint to cover this Kilz’d over blue with the Swiss Coffee. I expected 2 coats but not 3.I will be going back to my trusted high hide labels from BM or big box stores.

Great primer color.
Great paint for the buck. I even used ot to paint over a dark blue color. It took a few coats on the blue which really was expected and I am pleased with how much paint is left over. It's a flat paint, so it's a great primer for the price. Goes on smooth and dries nicely.

Great paint at great price
Absolutely great paint! I ordered a gallon first to check the quality. Great coverage, great leveling out, color as shown on color chart. Then I ordered 5 gallons. . Couldn't be more pleased. I have used about every brand of paint and I find this brand as good or better than existing expensive brands. I hardly ever write reviews and I'm not getting compensated ........its just great paintand I think this company deserves a good review because of the quality of product but also that it is eco friendly and green certified.
