Beautifully crafted and perfect weight
I looked at a dark walnut (beautiful) as well as this sugar maple rolling pin with the black walnut Celtic knot inlay. Between the two I liked the added weight of the sugar maple. It is absolutely gorgeous in person. My wife used it but forgot to take pictures. Next time we make cookies, pizza, etc. We'll try and provide and update here. Don't hesitate on this one! It is both beautiful crafted and functional!Update 03-02-2021! Wife just used again to make rolls and remembered to take pictures. She said it is definitely the best rolling pin she's ever used. No sticking, nice weight, loves it.

It's not look like on the picture but is doing the job
The product himself are very good I like it that it's all wood I don't like the handles on the side that usually they sell it with so the fact that it's only one piece it's much more easy to work with I give it three stars because it's not look like the picture you cannot see the Brown line on it that this is what make it beautiful I wish it has.

Good quality rolling pin
I love this rolling pin. It is easier to control than my trusty rolling pin with handles. I washed and dried it well, then seasoned it with the food-grade oil I use for my Boos cutting board. It's much easier, in my option, to roll out thin pastry or cookie dough with this style rolling pin. I think this one will last many years, and the deigns attractive, too.

The craftsmanship is excellent as is the pricing. The maneuverability is great and it is easy to clean, per the directions. This rolling pin is a beautiful addition to our baking hobby.

Great rolling pin
I wasn't sure I would like this since it doesn't have the little knobs (wood pegs) sticking out the ends to hold on to while rolling. It works better though and I can push down harder to make the dough even thinner when making cinnamon rolls or other thin dough. I'm sure this will last me a lifetime.
