HairRx Professional Curl Conditioner, 3.4 Ounce

I was ordering some curls product and I saw this one...I read the reviews and decided I would try it, a small ounce first just in case...I love the smell, I love how it bounces my curls and I have a perm and it still bounces my curls like my hair was naturally curly...I love how it gives my hair that full look. I use it on my hair dry and it works well...I would recommend this product to any African American woman with a perm to try this product..I will be using this product as long as it is available on the market...Joanne

Edited to add: On 12/10/18, a few weeks after I purchased this product, the pump stopped working. I will not repurchase as it is too hard to use without the pump even though I do still like the product.As most curlies will tell you, it takes a few products layered to get "effortless curls". Or at least to make them look that way. lolThis works great as a sealant right after my leave in conditioner and all in one spray (Pureology Colour Fanatic or Redken One United) as I have fine, but tons of 2C-3A Caucasian wave and curls that I root color every 4 weeks. I am a natural red-head that is actually a white-head now. (No grey here, just white) So not only am I trying to enhance my curl, I'm trying to stop color fade on my dyed strawberry blond hair.If you are looking for hold, you need another product. This is a moisturizer or sealer that helps your frizzy curls look more smooth and shiny. I actually use a curl mousse or heavy curl cream after this product for hold and curl definition. I wanted this as a sealer and softener to help with my frizzy parts of my hair the hairdresser went a bit overboard on with the bleach for highlights.The bottle is quite small but a little goes a long way for my application. About 2-3 small pumps are enough for my long hair (middle of back). I would guess if I used this regularly every couple of days (my normal shampoo time is 2-3 days) the bottle might last about 8 to 10 weeks.I am also not sure if I like the scent yet. I think it is banana or something but it does fade rather quickly for me especially as I put another product on top of it. I have to say I am so glad it is not coconut scented as I am so over any curly haired product with that scent I will steer clear forever I think, no matter how good the product.Overall, a nice nut butter curl conditioner that will not break the bank but do not expect curl enhancement, you need a mousse or gel for that instead.

It stinks and after my six year old daughter said it smells like crabs I couldn’t use it ever again. Gross smelling

Great smell work great

This is a small conditioner with a pump top. It's 3.4 ounces, & just slightly over the TSA amount for carry on bags so that's something to be aware of if you are taking it traveling with you. It's a thick, rich conditioner that you leave in, & it's highly fragrant (floral). I have a sensitivity to many fragrances, & this is not a product I could use because it is too fragrant for me. If you like floral scents, you may enjoy this conditioner.

I really like this curl conditioner. Not only does it smell great, but the formula works wonders on my middle-age dry hair. Just a pump or two makes my hair feel like it used to twenty years ago—more hydrated, less frizzy, and added shiny softness.It’s hard to tell which single ingredient is working so well because there are many, and lots of them are unfamiliar to me. To list just a few: bassia butyracea seed butter, shea butter, radish seed oil, crambe abyssinica seed oil, orbignya speciosa kernel oil, astrocaryum murumuru seed butter, bambusa vulgaris sap extract, coconut oil, rosemary leaf extract, mango seed butter and macadamia ternifolia seed oil. Now I know why Hair Rx simply calls these ingredients and others naturally emollient plant oils and seed butters.I tried this conditioner to see what effect it would have on short wavy hair. I’m impressed with the added definition and softer hair texture it provides. Even though Hair Rx labels this a curl conditioner, I think it would work great on any head of hair that needs a little more elasticity and hydration.
