CL by Chinese Laundry Women's Trissa Ghillie Wedge Pump

I haven't been writing reiviews lately cause I am so busy, but I had to take the moment for these shoes. I am very impressed with them. I understand the star rating on amazon is good (4 stars currently), but I do not always trust that. I use fakespot (dotcom) to help me determine how reliable those reviews are. It rated this product as an "F", which means most of the reviews are fake in some way. They use an algorithim that looks through reviewer history to see if they post a lot of reviews and all of them being positive etc. You can read more about it online. My hopes were very low for these shoes.I put these shoes on and they fit incredibly perfect. I have room in the toe box so my toes don't feel cramped but my heel doesn't slip out (like what usually happens to me) due to the strings. I find these incredibly attractive. Now I haven't gotten to wear these except around the house. I was just so excited I had to jump on a rave about them. I will update when I have pictures to provide and more miles on them. OMG! These are awesome. I have a wide toe box and a narrow heel so I usually go up a half size from 7.5 to 8 with pointy toed shoes. I got the 8 and they fit like a glove! Usually with going up a half size I have room for my toes but then the heel slips around, therefore the ankle straps. But with these I didn't need the strap really and didn't have to tie them tight to get them to stay on. It was just for looks for a change. Wore them all day to work with no sore feet. Very stylish and got lots of compliments. Just enough heel height to be a little sassy but good for lots of running around at work. Now I want them in red! I don't usually expect inexpensive shoes to be comfortable but these were fantastic.

A little too rough and unforgiving. Likely would have caused my sensitive feet a lot of trouble if I tried wearing them out all day. Strings weren’t quite long enough to wrap around my ankle more than once and fit into a nice bow - and to be honest, I really don’t believe my ankles are unusually long so they just didn’t work for me, they also seemed to be of different lengths and we’re very rough when tied. They’re not terrible, if you don’t have any trouble with your feet and you’re willing to work on the laces issue (or yours don’t end up causing any trouble) than I think they would be very cute, unfortunately I couldn’t keep them. Ordered my usual size and they were a bit large.

These shoes are very stylish, with a wedge heel that is perfect for me . . . not too high. I really like Chinese Laundry-style shoes (I have several pairs) and they fit as expected, are generally very comfortable, and as previously mentioned, they are quite stylish. If you are looking for an ankle strap-type shoe with a low wedge, these are the shoes for you! Depending on what you're wearing, this shoe can be dressed up or down. I'm very happy with my purchase.

Cute shoe and the price is right. They look great on but holy s**t these are soooooo uncomfortable!!!! The inside of the shoe feels about as comfortable as plywood! Stiff, unyielding, and rough. No thanks. Back to China with you!

I wanted so badly to live these shoes! The tow box was super narrow and cut into the putter part of my foot. Also, my foot slid around in the shoe no matter what because you can’t tie the strings tight enough even if you wanted to. Love the heel height and the quality was there. Tried wearing a few pair of thick socks to stretch them but didn’t work very well.

This shoe is very cute. The wedge would make them comfortable for walking and the straps and design make them trendy. They do squeak a lot when you walk. I was by buying them for an evening dance reception, so it wouldn’t have mattered much, but I wouldn’t want to wear them in church. They ended up being too small because of how pointy the toe is. Maybe if you ordered a half size up it would work.

These shoes are super cute and comfortable. Perfect for standing, walking around and dancing at a wedding! All around great shoe that can be dressed up or down.

Me gusta el diseño, ya que se los puede usar tanto para el trabajo, como para algo más informal. Son ligeros y la cuña los hace relativamente cómodos; pedí 1/2 número más grande puesto que tengo pies anchos pero para ser zapatos en punta, ciertamente vienen amplios; los cordones vienen de buen tamaño y en general, estos zapatos son muy lucidores.Sin embargo, la construcción es bastante rígida (me rozaron un poco el talón y el empeine), el material de la suela interior es muy duro y no tiene casi soporte, por lo que si no estás acostumbrado a usar tacones, éstos a pesar de ser bien bajitos, no son como para traerlos puestos todo el día; el color si bien no es feo, me pareció más amarillo que lo café/anaranjado que se ve en fotos, además que el textil exterior no es de mi preferencia.Sabiendo esto, creo que los compraría de nuevo, aunque ya en mi número regular y otro color (antes había rosa pálido y rojo en stock, ahora ya solamente quedan disponibles en negro :( ) sólo porque el modelo se me hace muy bonito, si los hubiera en otro material (cuero sintético por ejemplo) creo que estaría más convencida de volver a adquirirlos...

Love these shoes! Comfy, nice color and they look great. I get lots of compliments when I wear them. I would definitely recommend.
