Templates make tasks much easier, and this one is no exception. Made from durable 1/8" acrylic, with circles marked at 1/4" increments, The Bullzeye makes finding the most desirable turning area in irregular shapes quick and simple. Position the template on the wood, select the position that allows you to utilize the best figure and yield, and then, using an awl in the center hole, scribe a circle on the wood with a pen or pencil. Defects are easily avoided, or “character” areas can easily be included. Template will have a maximum yield of 10".

Just the right tool for finding the middle and equidistant points from the middle of a surface.
I got this Bullzeye center finder to drill drainage holes on the bottom of planters (plastic pots) and on a copper fire pit. Of course the drilled holes did not need to be perfectly centered and lined to each other, but how nice to have a simple tool to do the job right.

Be Careful - Made from breakable plastic
The first time I used this it cracked where the awl goes in the center when I struck the awl with my hammer. Now there is a small crack in it but it is still usable. Would have been better if made from a softer plastic instead of the type that cracks. I like the product and hopefully it holds up in the future.

Bullzeye works
I have used the Bullzeye for several months now. It is decently made and does the job as advertised. My only complaint is that I would prefer it to be a bit thicker (sturdier) and it would be great if one was offered in a larger size. It just is not large enough for, say, a 10 inch salad bowl.

Manufacturer is ripping you off!
Works as advertised. Would get 5/5 stars if the plastic were thicker and not so flimsy and bendable, the circumference were larger (maximum range is too low) AND if it were much cheaper! Waaaaaaaay OVERPRICED and can't believe I paid that much for a thin, flat piece of clear plastic. It does work though which is why it's not a 1/5 star.

A Useful tool
This really works well in marking round blanks for making bowls out of odd shaped wood. A great shortcut. And because it is clear , you can avoid knots when marking out you best possible bowl blank
