This is nice stuff.Personally feel I need grade 90.
This is a really great combination of sizes. Mine all made well. As far as washing them...I put the soapy water in my salad spinner and give them the whirl...rinse, rinse whirl. Drain...whirl....hang on my bread rack! I like this a lot.different sizes keeps me from having to cut to size and the grade 90 is so much nicer. Anyway I've found them sturdy and washable when done as I wrote above. Can't vouch for in the washer.

What a nice quality product
What a nice quality product! Although, I think grade 90 is a little too tight for my needs. Also, thank you for not misleading about the origin of your cheesecloth as other sellers seem to do. You put your hart and soul into your product and I wish you all the best in your business. Nicely done!

Disappointed
This cloth seemed nice and sturdy when it arrived. The cloth appeared dense and tightly woven. I loved the various lengths, color-coded with the edging - what a great idea! The cloth felt as if it had some sort of sizing, so I ran it through the wash on delicate with a touch of bleach to kill any germs. No soap, no vigorous scrubbing. The edging came off each piece almost entirely and the cloth wasn't as densely woven as it first appeared. I guess I just need to sew my own up out of muslin, as I really want a cheesecloth that's easily washable. A waste of $20.

Not reusable it falls apart when washed on delicate It works great the first time without washing. But is it clean when it comes? I don't know.

Unravels during washing
They are fragile. After one washing (in washing machine zippered into a pillow case for protection) I had to hand sew at least half of the separated and frayed edges. Also, material rips VERY easily. They are useful, but but it looks like they will require ongoing repairs to maintain.

and love making everything myself
As someone who does a LOT of cooking, and love making everything myself, from scratch, no matter how complicated and masochistic, I have been continually frustrated by the terrible quality of cheesecloth I've gotten when I could find cheesecloth at all. Huge holes, fraying edges, and impossible to clean, nothing I ever found was serviceable. Well, my prayers to the Cooking Gods were answered when I found this on Amazon.First, the weave is very tight, tight enough that it was perfect for the homemade Thai sticky rice I made in my steamer last night without any rice falling through, and for perfectly straining the homemade stock I made the day before that with nary a speck of anything remaining.Second, the edges are serged to prevent fraying. This may seem like a small thing, but with a rough cloth like cheesecloth it's HUGE. No more coming apart when I try to clean it; no more bits of fiber in my food.Lastly, it's not one giant piece of cheesecloth that you have to hack to size for each experiment, but several pieces in all different sizes. I've already used two of the sizes for different things and I've just gotten them.So if you've been as frustrated as I was with the search for decent cheesecloth, end the torture and buy this for yourself.

TOP NOTCH, this is extremely high quality but needs HAND WASHING ONLY!
Very Nice! I cannot fathom putting a cheesecloth in the washing machine and expecting it to stay in one piece. Really? No. When this says washable, they mean by hand!! I hand washed mine and dried it and it came out beautiful. No problems whatsoever. This cheesecloth is definitely top quality and comes in a beautiful box, however, apparently it is not sold in a box any longer? Not sure about that but I've heard it is in a bag now which would make me less inclined to pay $19.99 and give it as a gift but it is still a wonderful quality and amount of cheesecloth and that cannot be disputed! Hand wash it and care for it as it should be cared for, it is a delicate product!! It's by far better than any other cheesecloth I have ever bought!

Great find
I've been making my own Greek yogurt from whole milk for years. I drain the newly fermented culture (2 gallons worth) for several hours to remove the excess whey (which I save to make bread) to get the thick, creamy yogurt I eat every day. "Regular" cheesecloth from the supermarket or craft store is coarse and has to be double thick to work. After a couple of batches the weave loosens so badly that I have to discard it and start new. I tried nylon nut milk bags, but the weave is too fine and clogs easily. The bags are also too small for for my yogurt batch size. I would give this product 5 stars except that the border stitching is starting to fall off even though I hand wash the material after using. Even with the edge binding missing, however, the weave has remained tight and uniform, so I'm happy.
