I just received this cam and was surprised to see that many of the features highlighted in the Amazon Product Description and Specifications were completely incorrect:1. Capture Mode: Single Shot/ Self-timer ( 2s/ 5s/ 10s). No, there is ONLY Single Shot mode for photo capture mode.2. 【Built-in WIFI Function for Wireless Connectivity】easy to transfer the pictures and videos to your smart phones and tablets. Download the free APP. Unlike similar sports cams that allow you to connect to a smart phone or tablet to control the device, and use as a viewfinder, no, there is NO wireless functionality in this camera.3. While not specifically defined in the text, a product photo shows a micro HDMI port alongside the USB port. There is no micro HDMI port on the device.

Video quality suckes. kept getting lines in the video and very grainy.

I am giving it to my daughter for Christmas. I am very happy with my purchase.

Let me start with this...if you buy this thing, find out you don't like it, BE AWARE: You will be charged a 'restocking fee' when you send it back! I don't feel they make you well aware of this up front!I bought this as a gift for my daughter who is heading over seas. It claims to have everything she could want. Waterproof case, high definition video/still camera! AND it is on sale at $35!?! OH BOY!Well, thank goodness it was not at the 'regular price'. Because the camera was really 'cheapo junky'!Let me start with the good, bad, and ugly!The good:1. Water proof case seems of good quality. While I did not test the seal, it seemed to be solid and kind of nice.2. The camera/equipment case was nice! I was really excited when I saw and felt the quality of it.3. The added stuff was copious, lots of little do-dads to play with.All of that MAY BE worth the $35, maybe even $40 to you, but not to me!The bad:1. The camera itself really felt like a little piece of junk. Seriously bad quality build! Did it work? Kind of...I didn't test it too much because of quality of the camera itself and because of what you will read in 'The ugly'.2. The camera itself obviously could not keep out even water from a misty day! The build quality on it was so bad I could see light through the gaps in some of the seems! I can not imagine walking around with this junky little camera in the bulky plastic underwater case to protect it!3. The whole bit did not have a box. It came wrapped in plastic, not even sealed but more or less taped closed.The ugly (and the deal killer):1. The 'user manual' was absolutely the worst I have EVER seen! It was one small sheet with very, VERY small print. I am guessing it was 3 or 4 pt type AND it was kind of fuzzy. Additionally, it really did not explain how to use the camera! I had to play with it and figure it out for myself, taking a several hours! Indeed, I could not get the camera to work for about 30 minutes until I figured out I had to format the memory card while it was in the camera! NO INSTRUCTIONS LED TO EXTREME FRUSTRATION!All of this is bad enough that I would not have bought it had I known! I can't give this that seems a toy camera as a gift to an adult!But to add insult to injury when I returned the item I was charged a 'restocking fee'...I think it was 20%, somewhere around $7! This is something I have never experienced with Amazon, though I don't think charged by Amazon but the '3rd party seller'. Why buy something on line when you can't personally see, touch or try it if to actually see if it is going to work for you it will cost anything at all? This is like going to a store to find out you are not allowed to hold the item you are considering until you pay a fee! (Something a Honda dealership tried to pull on me once).So think before you buy this item, and decide if it is worth the 'restocking fee' to actually hold on to it and use it!Hope I helped you!

Plug and play? NO way! My Mac doesn't even see it to import anything. The modes do not appear as described. I bought this in 2018 and never tried to use it until now. Quits filming long before you tell it to stop. I'm going to give up on it at this point. I was robbed. Everything said in these reviews is true except the one who liked it.
