My husband was talking about getting a magnet to fish for things. I was messing around on Amazon and saw this one. He was excited to get it. He says it is good quality and strength. So far he has been attracting nails out of the yard playing with it. Now, I do not know what all he will do with it, but he has definite plans since he fishes in Florida often. This may need to be a two part review. He loves the magnet itself. This was a good buy! I should have wrapped it up for Father's Day.

It’s a cool product. Especially if you have kids ( boys) like I do. Unfortunately, you aren’t going to find gold or silver because they are non- magnetic, but you will pick up many other metals. And it’s always fun to impress guests by throwing it into your refrigerator then asking them to try and pry it off. Overall, yeah I knew what I was getting before I paid the $53.00, just buy it for your kids!

Magnet is strong. Cord provided is weak

Great. Bought it for my boyfriend because he was amuzed with magnet fishishing. It’s what he expected. We still haven’t found anything outstanding but the product works great.

It's done what it said it would

For the fishing enthusiast. Strong magnet. Easy to use. Worth it.

This is a strong magnet but, there is no way it will lift 1000 lb. it might pull 100 lb

Quite strong but nowhere near the advertised 1000lbs of pull strength. 200lbs at best
