A useful niche tool
I have a good friend who is a volunteer firefighter, and I gave him one of these for Christmas. He has used it a number of times.

Sturdy present for a first responder!
I know nothing about this tool, other than it was requested as a present! It’s super weighty and is a high quality tool for lugging heavy materials as a firefighter. Has lasted a year and doesn’t seem to be letting up!

Why the hell did I not buy this sooner?!
This is probably the best damn tool I've ever had in my bunker pants pocket. It grabs 2 1/2, 1 3/4, and 1 1/2 hose nice and tight. (It's a bit troublesome getting on to 1 3/4 without a bit of practice). The carbide tip shatters tempered glass with just a slight tap, I haven't been able to use it as a windshield yet, but I look forward to the moment to do so. I'll probably end up buying another one just so I could use two to disconnect two lengths of hose. Overall, it's amazing. I had a bowring tool which this replaced. It's lighter, but more pocket friendly.

Useful
This sturdy grade metal this hook is made out of come in very handy on a fire where the flame was coming out the roof before the first engine even got there so we were having a douse it with a lot of water made it easier to move the hose around through a fence and around corners by myself while I had another guy trying to keep it from hanging on a corner really suggest for any of my firefighters out there worth the money

Takes up valuable space
I purchased this as a probationary firefighter and have a couple years on the job now. My time spent using this has given me some insight and figured I’d share. Its definitely a well made tool and certainly has its place, it is a bit pricy. I do like it but for my line of work I have found It takes up space that we all know is valuable and for that reason, I don’t use it much any more. One of the original reasons that I thought this would be useful is for pulling hose when in reality, this is not practical as I need both hands and don’t have time to mess around with a tool when you just need proper technic when handling hose. I’m not knocking this item, It’s just not something that fits my needs. This has a few different uses and will certainly be useful for some.

Great Tool
Was larger than I expected however it seems really sturdy and strong. I am really excited to use it. Has a lot of features to use for one tool. Feels well made and the design looks nice.

One of the best purchases I've ever made on Amazon.
I've been a fire fighter for over 20 years. I recently heard about this product while conducting hose handling training. Got to try a similar type of product but decided on purchasing this one. I have to say this is one of the best purchases I've made on Amazon. The snagger tool makes handling a hose so much easier! Backing up someone on a line is no problem with this tool. Being on a line by yourself with this is easier as well. Wish I had known about this product a long time ago but I'm glad that I now have this in my turnout pocket. This should be a mandatory piece of equipment for every fire fighter with all it's versatility.
