Life Changer
Product is easy to put together, it comes in a 2 pack and with batteries so for $21 that is a steal of a deal. I bought 2 boxes so I received 4 dispensers total (2 for the kitchen - 1 hand soap and 1 dish soap, and 1 for each bathroom). All of them worked great, it did take a couple of pumps to get the soap up the pump and then worked fine. They are all still working and it's been about 3 days but 1 of them stopped working yesterday. I read and re-read the instructions and did all of the trouble shooting options and it's not pumping out soap. You can hear the sensor sound when you put your hand in front of it but it doesn't sound like the soap is actually going up the pump because that makes a different sound. I'll post a video later. That is the reason I took off 1 star and the other star is just because when I tried to change the settings it only blinks twice and three times but not once. The 2nd setting is sufficient enough and I use the 3rd setting when we have a lot of dishes to wash but that's about it. Also the blinks happen pretty fast so it's kind of hard to tell what setting you are on until you really pay attention to the blinking. I'll post a video of the setting change later too.Other than that, I really like the product and know that it will save us on soap in the long run.

Product performed fine
It was very nice to have the product come with the necessary batteries. It took longer than expected to prime the product so it started to work. Overall I am satisfied with the product and would recommend it for purchase. It probably can't be beat for the price.

Great until they leak.
I’ve enjoyed these for 2 months but one quit working and, when I went to replace the batteries, I discovered the soap had leaked into the battery compartment. I guess, for the price, I appreciate that one is still working.

Soap leaking into battery compartment
Style & size were great. After 3 days use, 1 of the dispensers started leaking from where the soap is stored down through the battery compartment. At first thought someone had gotten wet, or spilled soap, but after removing batteries & drying completely, when I refilled the soap container, it immediately started leaking through the new batteries in the compartment, out onto the counter. So far the second dispenser is working & not leaking, but it is a bathroom that is used less than the main bathroom.

Not good!
Leaks all over the place. Wasted a whole bottle of $7 hand soap!

3-6 month lifetime -- conducting review of many soap dispensers // so far so good?
Hello everyone, I'm sad to report that in my review across several product lines, this product HAS NOW FAILED despite my initial satisfaction. Everyone else was right and I was wrong, it just took some time. It is extremely hard to get good reviews on automatic soap dispensers, because the problem is not that they don't work right away -- it's that they don't work for LONG. So all the early reviews are good, like mine was several months ago, and most reviewers don't have the patience to come back and update after the failure finally occurs.I bought 2 rounds of these, so had 4. They lasted about 3, 5, 6 and 8 months before dying (the first was in shower, the last in kitchen, and the others at bathroom sinks -- so gives you ideas about humidity etc.). It's not quite as clear as other models where I had soap leak through to the battery compartment and kill the unit, along with my batteries; here, one or two had a spot of corrosion, but for the most part I didn't see a direct sign of soap leaking vehemently through. It looks like something just happened internally. My 2x+ price model did last longer at around 9 months, so I guess you get what you pay for! But I still give these all 1* and recommend AGAINST. I am currently only trying side or top loaded battery compartments. In retrospect, it's quite obvious that those are the only correct design for these units. SAVE yourself the one year of experimentation I wasted in my life -- pay a few dollars more (or up to $10 more) for a better-designed unit. Don't ever try a bottom-compartment battery for a soap-dispenser. Good luck, and let me know if you find anything better!!!!!-----original review:i decided to write a review bc im not sure why the rating is so low... well ive only used these a few days so far, but everything is working fine for me. in fact, its working better than one i bought for $25, which is more than 2x the price. that said, i see that many of the negative reviews complain of problems later on down the road, so maybe its just too early for me. ill update this review if these eventually become a problem.

Problems
The pump bearly moves the straight soap ... it has to be deluded and on several occasions the pump runs when the bathroom light is turned off, something to do with the Infared system
