Tony Stromberg is my long time favorite stalk on Facebook. He does wonderful photography clinics and I hope to one day join him on one of his adventures to Morocco or Spain to photograph warmbloods. When he came out with this book I ordered it the same day and was in love with it. There's new images in it I haven't seen on his website or on his Facebook page. Tony Stromberg captures horses like no one else I've ever seen. And truthfully he's been picked as one of the top world photographers of equines. Pick up his book if you are a horse lover or want to give a horse lover a book. You won't regret it. This huge book is just simply very well crafted and worth every penny.

I keep looking for excuses to sneak away and curl up with this lovely book. Each photo conveys aspects of the horse with subtlety, nuance and an intimate appreciation for individual horses and for the relationships between horses. Tony Stromberg is a master of light and framing. He also loves horses. The gift-giving season is just beginning, but I am sure this will be my favorite gift – that is unless someone presents me with an actual horse!

TONY STROMBERG HAS CONVEYED BOTH ATTRIBUTES VERY WELL IN HIS FANTASTIC BOOK.AS A SURVIVOR OF FOUR CARDIAC ADVENTURES THE TITLE "HORSE MEDICINE " STRUCK ME AS HIGHLY APPROPO. I VOLUNTEER WITH THE MSSPA HERE IN MAINE AND HAVE COME TO LOVE THEIR RESCUED HORSES.

I've been a horse lover since I was a little girl and I find this book to be absolutely breathtaking! Mr. Stromberg is not just a very good photographer but he must love horses as much as I do because he always seems to capture a photo that I would experience in my dreams. This has already become my favorite coffee table book!

The book is very nice, most of the pictures are taken in mist, dust or low light.

Absolutely magnificent! Tony's photographs are one of a kind -- he is definitely the master in this field. His images capture not only the power of equus but the elusive spiritual impact the Horse has had on mankind throughout the ages. Tony gets it right - the Horse connects us with God, and that can be felt in every single one of these photographs.

I have become a fan of Mr. Stromberg's work. My Designer secured a large photograph of the horse pictured on the front of this book. It is, absolutely, stunning, as are all of the photographs in this book.

Incredible photography. It captures the true essence of the horse.

Before buying this book I read numerous reviews on Amazon.com that gave the book 5 stars and raved about the photographs in extravagant terms. There were only 3 negative reviews of 2 or 3 stars. Given the extravagance of positive reviews, I decided the 3 negatives ones must be by cranks. To be sure, I visited Mr. Stromberg's website where I saw truly fantastic horse photography. And I read his comments that Horse Medicine was a collection of his best. That did it for me. I bought the book, from Amazon.ca, as a Christmas gift for a friend. When it arrived, I saw I should have listened to the cranks. There were indeed a few very good photographs, and quite a few more that were good; but there were also an inexplicable number of photographs of the back end or just the tail or mane of a horse. Many other photographs of horse parts. There was at least one that was blurry -- and not in an artful way. And photographs that were almost the same. I was so disappointed I would not give the book as a gift and returned it. I had to quickly find another gift for my friend.

A stunningly beautiful book full of wonderful atmospheric & magical images of our horse companions upon this earth. An absolute classic!
