We purchased two of the Grill Armory Fire Blankets as gifts for our children's homes.They like having bonfires and although they keep a bucket of water nearby we feltthe blanket would be an extra safety measure protecting them and our grandchildrenin case of a mishap. Having the blanket on hand makes sense for every household.My elderly mother mistakenly lit the wrong electric burner while boiling eggs.The burner she turned on had a burner cover on it and atop that was a woven basket holding paper plates.The fire that ensued that ruined the stove, vinyl flooring, kitchen rugs and slightly burned my sister as shepulled the basket off the burner. Professional smoke damage cleanup, washing all fabric items(curtains, towels, table cloths, bedding, etc.) affected from smoke, throwing away all plastic food wrap,paper towels and food stored in boxes and packages due to the smoke toxicity cost well over $5.000.If you have an elderly relative consider this as a must have fire safety measure. Hopefully I won't have to use this. Helps give piece of mind.

Haven't used and hope not to ever use, but we recently had a fire on the grill and found another way to put it out. This would have been perfect. If ever a next time, and hopefully never, we will be prepared!

Great product, easy to use. I almost burned my house down with a grease fire this year, but with this, it will never be a problem again.
