Job Site

we found this book at the library and my 18-month old son was instantly mesmerized by it so I bought him his own copy. It is a little hard to know why he likes so much but I am guessing it's a combination of the subject-matter, the bold graphics with the different points of view and the simple declarative sentences. We read this to him in English and Spanish, as we are a bilingual household, and it is hilarious watching and listening to him trying to copy the boss' verbal and non-verbal directions.I agree with other reviews that this is a good book that illustrates the process of how a job gets done and it is refreshing to see a character in charge who is of color!

I originally checked this out from the library. My son loved it so much, I bought one for us to have all the time. Great book that is perfect for toddlers!

A favorite story for my twin 2 yr old grandsons. They want it read before nap and bedtime every day. Then they imitate being construction workers. This is a simple, fun, well illustrated story.

Easy read. My son loves this book. He is 2 years old and can recite the words.

My son loves trucks and tractors, so I knew he would love this book. I was right! This is his fave. book...loves looking through the pictures. However the book itself is not holding up to well! The pages are faling right out after just a few reads.

Easy book with 1 sentence per page and realistic, detailed illustrations. Boss throws out a command, and a construction vehicle follows his orders. Very straightforward. As others have mentioned, the binding was low-quality, and pages were soon falling out. Maybe future editions will be board books??
