RL 261 Cam Cleat

Installed these using rivets on a Old Town Saranac 146 canoe to hold the anchor line while on the river. Works perfectly. Highly recommended.

What more can you ask for?I've used these to 'tie' off tether lines in my workshop where I can hoist items out of the way or lift them to an adjustable height. The flat base is perfect for attaching to the wall with screws and anchors where necessary.

The media could not be loaded. Good upon arrival. Seems to hold tension. Bought for a shade sail install. Did not come with any screws to screw into post. (Don’t mind my dirty nails, I was making mud pies with my son lol) our back yard is scorching hot and our current shade sail is sagging. Hope to correct it with rope and cam cleat.Update: does not hold tension on a 1/4 rope. Our shade sail fell down and knocked all of our stuff over.

My wife likes to use a clothes line occasionally and has some difficulty raising, lowering and tightening the line. I do not like to leave the line in place all the time because I think it is unsightly. I purchased the line on the retracting reel and used a normal series of attachment points to permit the line to be strung in the yard. Near the reel I used the cam cleat to permit easy tightening and release of the line. Easy up and easy down. the cleat is working perfectly in this application, a real win win. I may have to install a better quality line in the reel if the standard line doesn't hold up. If I still had my Catamaran, this cleat would be equally appreciated.

I use these to hold my bait pen. A couple Harken pulleys and then the rope goes through these cleats and holds perfectly. I've had another pair on my other dock for almost 5 years before one of the cleats broke. Nothing works better for the price and performance.

Racelite is an old company that has supplied excellent value hardware for sailboats for a long time. They supply many boat manufacturers. I have ordered directly from their web site, but was glad to see them selling on Amazon. Good stuff great value. Bought this to make a quick release for an anchor on my kayak. Works perfect.

Just what I was looking for to secure my kayak anchor. Locks the anchor line down, yet allows for a quick release if/when needed. Going to put a second one on my other kayak.
