Cel-fi RS1 Cell Phone Signal Booster Wireless Extender for T-Mobile

I bought the Cel-Fi For T-Mobile RS1 Cell Phone Signal Booster Nevtivity 3G, 4G Extender [refurbished] from Sundays Seconds LLC for $ $185. I was trying to avoid getting rid of two Google Nexus 4 cell phones that my wife and I use on the T-Mobile network, for which we both use the $30 a month plan for each phone. Before moving we had great signals, but after our move, the service was terrible. We both had 'no service' messages on our phone for the majority of times, I could only receive a signal when in our master bedroom close to a window.Upon receiving the product, I immediately setup both receiving and transmitting units which took under 5 minutes and was plug and play with no user intervention on my part. Signal strength went from no bars or 1 bar to 4 bars, which on a Nexus 4 is the most bars available. Calls are perfectly clear. I love it!

Total garbage. Didn't work. Didn't matter where it was pointed, located or at what height. Indicated various different error codes every few hours.I threw it away.

This device is actually doing a worse job at achieving a decent signal that my phone is alone; at least with my phone I get two bars, with this I only get one. I will have to go to you tube an look for a good video on this item, just to make sure its not user error. No instruction manual came with mine, so you are kind of on your own to figure things out.

I bought one of these units a week ago, had to register as the unit did not pick up a signal. I returned it today as it woud not pick up a signal. Tmobile did say it was registered and should be picking up at least 1 bar. They suggested returning the unit.I really need to have a working unit. Do you test the unit? If so, can send me a working unit (really need to have a good unit), I will be happy to try again.Thanks

I tested this product in a very remote area and worked great. I installed the big unit on the top section of a second floor window and picked up two bars of reception. I installed the small unit in my office on the first floor and my iphone 6 has 100% reception with 4G. I have friends in this same building using other signal boosters with much less success. I recommend it 100%.

I bough a refrubished unit , didn't pick any signal, my phone has 2 bars the machine had none

No discernible difference in signal strength or quality. 1-2 bars without it, 1-2 bars with it. As near as I can tell, all it does is use electricity and get warm. Will be trying in another house, and if results are positive, will modify comment accordingly.
