Used on old hitachi 2.5 sata drive from hp laptop. drive had not been powered on since 2011 so 15 years ago. As an FYI, there was a plastic connector that was attached to the hard drive that I had to pull off before this sata adapter would connect to the pins. I was able to recover my entire music collection off the old drive I had thought was lost forever.

Worked well! Just needed a one time use to clone my C drive and it worked perfectly.

This product is easy to use and the instructions are very simple. Thanks to this now i can use old ssd cards for extra storage of family picture and edited photos i keep of vehicles and wildlife.great value for the money on 2026 economy. Connects fast and the quality is a little questionable but i keep stuff on designated locations to help keep things lasting for as long as possible.it is small and when connected to a PC it doesn't take much space and also when stored.
