I definitely recommend reading all the troubleshooting guide and instructions so you can avoid any mistakes. It's super quick and easy, the cast itself takes as little as two minutes. After that you just easily and carefully remove your hand or whatever you used. Once you've filled the cast you use the nail file, wooden sticks and paint (all included in the kit" and design it with as much detail and creativity as you want. It shows fine detail if done well, so much you'll see the veins. This really is the perfect gift. It's quick setting for a possible date night. The quality of the materials is good overall, and I really loved all the tools and add-ins it includes; they make the process easier and more detailed compared to basic kits. That said, the bucket is definitely smaller than other kits I’ve used. It seems better suited for people with smaller hands or even kids rather than two full adult hands, which made it a bit harder to use as intended. Its also hard to mix, but the kids had fun with it. Overall, it’s a decent kit with good quality and thoughtful tools, but I do wish the size was a bit more accommodating for adults.

Fun kit - and once you have the mold made, you could use resin or whatever you wanted if you didn't want to use the plaster. All over this, and 5 stars all day!

I have used a similar set before, and I like this one. It has a stand included that you can use for the finished product. It has a great size bucket for the casting, a nice size stick for mixing, sandpaper, some good paint options and a brush. I personally find the instructional video in the listing to be really helpful to see what’s going on as well as reading it. It has the molding powder in one large bag and the plaster powder in another large bag, with the powder to mix in for those teo steps in other smaller bags. Because it’s all in one bag for each step I would say this is not good for splitting into multiple projects, you would probably want to use this all for one big project instead of trying to reseal bags. Overall great set, you might want to also get gloves that’s one thing I noticed is not included. Definitely make sure you read all the instructions.
