First thing this is diffinately NOT purple.It took the full 48 hours to "fill up". I've had it 3 days now and it's not filling out any more.However, it didn't fill up evenly. One of the most important features for me was to have fullness at the top where the handle is for support. Which I really needed. I feel asleep with this and woke up in horrible neck and shoulder pain. Trying to adjust it the next night, same thing.. horrible pain.Most of the filling was around the lumbar or lower back area, which could be ok if the pillow had even support at the top. Also the filling didn't fill up in the corners, arms, or base of pillow where my hands are grasping....So overall...it doesn't do what I need for it to do.If you compare with my pillow photos to the pillow illustration it leaves much to be desired.I'm 5 ft 2 in. I wanted this 18 inches in the back, or larger size then most.Now, that I'm writing this I'm going to send it back. It's just not comfortable. Arm rests either.

I had purchased one from Target before, but it tore within only a couple months of use and my cats had started trying to dig out the fluff from the inside, so it was clearly time for a replacement. That one would always get progressively flatter during use anyway! But this one seems to be vastly better in quality, and even the cover is a soft, velvety texture that makes it that much nicer to use. The memory foam stuffing also means it doesn't get flat, no matter how long this couch potato leans on it!

I've been wanting a pillow to help me sit up in bed and read. I was excited to try this one out after I came across an ad for it. The pillow is rolled and wrapped in two layers of plastic. Simply unroll and shake out to fluff up. It does say it could take 24-48 hours to reach its full size. There was no odor like many memory foam pillows have when you first get them. I love the convenient handle at the top to easily carry it room to room while I have other things in my hand. The pillow itself is very soft and comfortable, but it's sturdy enough to not collapse behind you. The only thing I wish was that it was slightly bigger, it kind of disappears behind me, and that the arms were longer. I can't rest my arms fully on it while reading.

You can tell there's chunks of foam inside, so it's not the most comfortable pillow ever, but it's decent. It gives me a backrest so that I can sit on my futon and have my knees bent off the edge rather than having the edge come to my calf since the mattress has permanently slipped. However, I do have to stack pillows behind me since this only comes up to my mid back. Decent for this price point.

The height of the back of the pillow is generous as seen by the photo of it next to a standard bed pillow. The filling, especially in the body of the pillow is firm, making it nice for reading or watching TV in bed. The only thing I wish is that it came with a zip off cover because that would extend it's life by making me it more washable.

I love this pillow so much! It came packaged really great as well. Similar to the way mattresses are now shipping (compressed). The only thing I did not like was the funny chemical smell that comes from the pillow when you first open it. It does go away after a few days but the smell is irritating. The thickness and firmness of the pillow is amazing. I even use it on the couch for extra support on my back.

I bought this pillow for myself, as I am not comfortable sitting up in bed in the evenings to watch tv/movies. But my son has claimed it, as we don’t have enough comfy chairs in the living room. He has told me several times how much he loves it since I unpackaged it a few days ago. If fluffed up almost immediately and didn’t have any strange odor.

The most liked feature of this pillow is the comfort, it’s comfortable to use anywhere in my home to read books or to watch TV. Foam keeps the shape in place after use. May be I will look for different colors to match the house decor.
