    Flimsy paint WILL 100% chip off

A picture is worth a thousand words. For a $100 door knob, this is completely unacceptable. Emtek should have contacted customers with a recall and offered replacement by now. Extremely low grade coating rendering the well made knob useless.

Love the look and feel of these. Bought them in Matt Black.  After a few months the finish has worn off and looks really cheap.  We thought they were black all the way through.  We had Schlage door knobs in the past and never had this problem.  We thought we were upgrading.

After 4 months of use on a closet door the paint has chipped off.  I bought 7 of these.  5 have chipped paint after 4 months.  The Miseno knobs are a quarter of the price and still look perfect.  Emtek not worth the money.
