I am not going to lie, I expected these to be cheap thin things, but I am happily surprised, the water flows right through, so my plants will get watered but those annoying weeds will not be growing underneath them. I wish the shipping was a little faster but for the quality and price I will take it. I am currently using these in planters, so I can just tuck it under the lid, but when I move to the yard, I will have to stake them down to make sure they stay in place. Very happy.

Maybe I was expecting too much. Pretty thin, more of a spun fabric. I had to use landscape staples to keep down because I did not want to put more mulch on it. If you used quite a bit of mulch these would work great. Used 6 and not really pleased but they will work. I returned 2 packages and kept the one I had opened. Return was extremely easy and that is why I am giving it a 4. otherwise it would be a 2 or 3. Amazon was very easy to work with. Size was great, value was ok, just not thick as I thought it would be.

These are literally the thickness of what you get with a roll of landscape fabric, or a piece of felt that you’d buy at Hobby Lobby. Totally useless for their stated purpose of blocking weeds at the base of a small tree or similar.

Work as described, keeps the weeds away from the fruit tree trunk so it's easier to mow around.
