Screen is less brighter then other models
Other than the screen not being bright, it’s the same as any other scientific calculator. My professor specifically requires this model for all students so students don’t cheat.

Not all algebra fiction on keyboard
Purchase these for my daughters that are in ninth grade was trying to get a scientific calculator to do everything. This one does fall a little short and not having all the functionality it needs. I would recommend Prior to purchasing find out what you’re going to need in terms of functionality to ensure this one has it.

Not like the original or 2nd generation FX-300 calculator
Display unusable/unreadable when looked at from most any angle below (less than perpendicular) All the underlying character masks are visible (see photo). Display only readable and usable when looking straight down at the display (aka perpendicular to the keyboard)
