Worth Buying Again, and again
I bought this case for both my iPhone and my iPad. They are a matching set, quite attractive. Good quality leather, well designed, durable and functional. The Qi charging works even when bills and cards are in the back. I always prefer to write reviews after I have owned an item for a while, and this is an odd one even with that! I replaced the iPhone case after about 3-1/2 years because I beat the tar out of it. But the real reason is because there might be one issue, and that is that as the phone case wears, it might be inclined to shut the phone off - are the magnets loose, is the fold in the case where it wears to blame? I am not sure. However, I replaced it and the issue was resolved. And it's just a nice indulgence to have a new one.Amended March 2022Had to go to the German website, kavaj.de to order my latest case, as they did not have this for the iPhone 13 on Amazon. Still the nicest, best quality leather folio iPhone case on the market, imho! So this is my fourth Kavaj case, and here's a nicer photo of the set now. They are beautiful, quality leather cases that are simply worth the money.

Durable, high quality, affordable, and made very well
I just purchased my second KAVAJ case, and will continue purchasing them providing they keep up their amazing quality. I had my last case for approx 3 years and it underwent tremendous stress and wear. Even so the case held up very well. The first to breakdown was the plastic, then the leather started to wear a bit, BUT again, this was due to dropping, sliding, exposure to heat, rain, cold, overall rough conditions.I have posted 2 photos - one of my old case and one of the new case. The old case looks beat and worn, but again, that's due to heavy wear. Honestly, even though it was beat up, it still looked nice on my phone and also continued to protect the majority of drops, slides, etc. The other photo shows how nice the case looks new, as well as their nice packaging. I only wish I had used the coupon from my last case ;-).I highly recommend KAVAJ and their products. IMO they have the highest value to cost and offer a superior product. Please keep up the good work - you have a real fan here.

Efficient elegance and simplicity, Class done well.
Kavaj is efficient elegance. Classy in its simplicity. That is how I love my things and live my life. When I find a good brand, I stop looking. Electronics' leather cases for me means Kavaj is my first call. If they don't have it, I'm sending them an email. I found out that the founders run the company, no surprise their passion is evident in the product. As shown in my picture, this is my second Kavaj item. My first one is my MacBook Air case. It has traveled with me across 4 continents and thousands of miles. I never need to take my laptop out of my Kavaj case. The case is so well padded and insulated that it has protected my laptop so effectively. My second Kavaj is my iPhone cover case. It is very sturdy for a leather case. The phone is anchored in a sturdy clasp base. It has the flip cover that allows me to talk with the cover over the phone; privacy is key and it protects the screen. You will love your decision to buy Kavaj.

The case is well-crafted, not bulky, and seems to protect the phone well.
Having been very satisfied with a Kavaj case for an iPad Pro, I bought one for an iPhone Xs. The case adds little bulk to the phone, so it's easy to slip in a pocket. The case protects the corners of the Xs, and the phone fits snugly in the case. Controls on both sides are easily accessible, and the camera cutout fits precisely around the camera on the backside of the phone. While the top and bottom of the phone are exposed, the case projects just slightly past the contours of the phone, so it looks as if top and bottom would be protected if the phone were dropped on either end. Although this is a wallet case, pockets for cards, receipts, or money are on the backside of the case, not the inside. I only have a business card in one of the slots (there are two slots), and I rarely use these pockets. For those who do, however, their placement on the back of the case might be significant. The leather has a nice texture (and smell), and I expect it to wear very well if the case for my iPad Pro is an accurate indicator. All in all, I found the case to be attractive and the price reasonable.

Great Leather Case for iPhone XS.
I always buy Kavaj cases for my iPhone. I look for something that's not too bulky; that's not too heavy; that protects the screen and provides some cushioning, that allows complete access to the controls, ports, and cameras; and something that looks good. The Kavaj Dallas case provides all of those things. I have owned Kavaj Dallas cases for my last three iPhones. At first I wasn't sure it would provide enough protection, but I've dropped my phone a few times; sometimes through lack of attention and sometimes as result from a hard fall caused by my very big and playful dog accidentally taking my legs out from under me. My palms and my knees suffered more damage than my phone. The Kavaj case also costs the same or less than most iPhone cases. Before I buy a new phone, I buy the Kavaj case for it, because I won't use the phone before it's protected.

Nice, keep buying them
I’ve owned Kavaj Dallas cases for a few years with two different phones (iPhone 6 and X). These cases are sleek and well designed. They up to a year before they start to get worn out. The newest version lasts a bit longer than previous. My only qualm is currently the inside front cover is getting a bit pilled from holding it so much. It can also get a bit dark/discolored from wear but that’s not surprising for leather (old/new photos attached). They could be somewhat more durable there but otherwise I love em.

3rd Kavaj purchase for 3rd device.
This is my second Kavaj case - on second phone. I also have Kavaj on my iPad.I like the feel of leather.I ordered the "Dallas" by mistake, but now that I have it, I like the fact that it closes. Close the case and it locks, open and you see time and date. ( iPhone Xs ) Depending on how you use your phone and carry it, there are other cases that will provide more protection ( for those with slippery hands ) So, yes I am very happy

Great product
Great product that is made with quality in mind. The only downside about this product is that it seems to age very quickly. The inner part of the cover gets dirty and pills after a few months.

A let down compared to the old ones.
I have used Kavaj cases since the iPhone 5. I bought this to replace my iPhone X case - they tend to last a year or so before becoming a little bit too dog eared, but I’ve always loved their quality, feel and design. The new case has a more raised edge around the screen, which is nice as it seems more protective. The colour is also the same gorgeous brown as always. However, this new case has two fundamental problems as far as I can see.Firstly, the lack of fold on the front cover makes it less comfortable to hold and harder to use the camera - with the old design, you could flip back part of it to easily use the back camera whilst the case is in hand.Secondly, and more importantly, the case feels flimsier and much less well constructed than previously. Kavaj have said it’s engineered to be more durable than ever, specifically with new construction at the edges that stops them peeling as they were wont to do. However, the front cover feels thinner and bendier, the lining leather is noticably less cushioned, and the outer leather is less supple and thick than before. It is less well fitted and subtle crease and stretch marks are noticeable immediately with a new case.Unfortunately, I don’t think I will buy a Kavaj case again if this is what to expect in the future, and that’s a real shame. Perhaps they are right, and I will be converted when it shows it’s durability in 12 months time, but this is a product that is quite obviously cheaper to manufacture than the old cases. I have bought them for myself, my sister, mother, brother, brother in law and friends - in total, at least 15 cases in the last 5 years. I only hope to find a manufacturer that makes something as good as the old Kavaj cases.Edit: a further fundamental problem. Although this case is compatible with the official Apple charger, plenty of third party chargers simply will not work as the edge at the bottom interferes. I’ve taken another star off for this as it’s very frustrating.

Disappointed
This is the second KAVAJ cover I have bought. Compared with the one I purchased previously for my iPhone 7, this cover for my iPhone XS is nowhere near as good. This is a great shame because I loved the old one. It was absolutely excellent, and I gave brilliant feedback for it at the time.Because of this, I felt confident about ordering another KAVAJ cover for my new iPhone, but sadly this new on is poor by comparison. The magnetic closing is non-existent, the leather is chunky whereas the old one was beautifully crafted from fine leather. This new one causes problems with wireless charging. This may be because the leather is so much thicker. Such a shame. I feel quite disappointed.
