It goes together pretty easily. It's tall enough to get a small cook pot over a fire, and small enough to fit in a pack.I would like it more if it were just a wee bit taller, and the sections just a tiny bit bigger in diameter. But that's me being weird. Once it's together it's pretty sturdy. It also breaks down easily too. I haven't had any problems with the threads binding. Of course, you have to be careful with things of this nature anyway.

I really like this for hanging my thermos over my alcohol stove. I had to extend the chain a bit with a few split key rings for smaller pots and more control of heat over the flame.Definitely not for heavy things but it works great for lighter stuff. Plus, you can dig the feet into the ground a bit for added stability of the legs if you need to.

We use this every time we camp. Just put it together, place over fire, put kettle on hook and wait for hot water. So happy we have this now. Morning coffee is so much easier. Just wish we got one sooner.

The price was right and it met my needs. The case to keep it all together is nice for storage or transport. Would probably be good for backpackers. No instructions. Legs screw together and into the top part. No grate included.

Be aware of potential quality issues. Somehow ordered 2 units, one unit had a botched threading where one leg segment screws into another rendering the unit incapable of being assembled. The other unit was fine. Had to return one anyways, so naturally I'm returning the defective unit. Functional unit is as advertised. Sturdy enough and a small compact package for easy stowing and transport. Simple to use and intuitive set-up.

Flimsy.

Tried this out on our last camping trip. It worked well.
