Set of 4 Glencairn Glasses with 9 Whiskey Stones

I bought these recently for a buddy of mines birthday. He is a whiskey drinker and I wanted to get him something nice to appropriately serve his top shelf bottles with. He absolutely loved this set. The glasses are very comfortable to hold and sturdy and the stones are perfect for those expensive bottles that you do not want to kill with watering them down.The price was a little high for what amounts to some glasses and some pieces of soapstone but, I think it was well worth it. Looking forward to heading down his way and enjoying some Macallan 18 year out of them soon!

The photo makes it seem like you are buying legitimate Teroforma whisky stones...which isn't the case. They're off-brand and aren't gray but black. That being said, the glasses are what make this purchase worthwhile for me.

"Ice melts. Whiskey rocks!" Yea, well ice works and whiskey stones are merely a paper weight. Purchased the Whiskey Stones and Glencairn glasses as a way of chilling a single malt Scotch without diluting it's flavor. The stones seemed to the perfect solution, only they don't work. Even though the stones were in the freezer for days, they do little more than drop the temp slightly below room temperature and nothing more. They are absolutely useless and a regret.While I can say the Glencairn Whiskey glasses weren't as bad, they too are not worth purchasing. They are too small to handle easily and the mouth of the glass makes it difficult to sip a quality Scotch without banging into the rim each time. A nice rocks glass is still the preferred method of enjoyment. Glencairn markets these glasses to be the next addition to your favorite upscale bar and/or restaurant. They don't stand a chance of ever gaining market share. Save your money and skip these, too.

I bought this gift for a friend of mine and was very impressed by the packaging. The glasses came in nice gift boxes that had directions on how to properly taste whiskey. The stones also came in a little bag and were very nice. Both the glasses and stones were good quality. This is the perfect gift for anyone who enjoys whiskey or likes unique gifts.

Such a great gift for my brother-in-law. It was exactly like the picture and the glasses are sturdy.

I've enjoyed a good bottle of scotch with these glasses and prefer the stones more than ice cubes to avoid diluting my scotch. I've recommended the set to my friends already.
