Harris Robinette Ribeye Steak, Natural 100% Grass Fed Beef - Made in the USA - Thick Carved, Premium Cut - 6 Steaks

I ordered these one time and only one time I’m pretty well knowledgeable when it comes to steaks I’ve grown up in the steak business. These were the absolute worst steaks and I use the term steak very loosely. I would have rather had zero taste than ever taste anything like this again. They were extremely fatty very poorly trimmed. The only way to cook and eat a steak is medium rare and still these steaks were not edible. There is no way these steaks were cut when ordered and they were definitely cut weeks before ordered. They were very poorly sealed and packaged and due to the amount of blood in the packaging these steaks were not froze immediately after being cut which needs to happen if the steaks are Being shipped and not going to be eaten immediately just by the packaging I don’t believe these steaks were ever frozen two of the steaks had a lot of leaked blood in the packaging which means they were not frozen and they also had browning of the meat which means they were allowed to reach room temperature or warmer at some point and the two steaks that arrived frozen and with minimal leaked blood in packaging were the two I tried to eat and were not edible after cooking I did not get sick which I was worried about given that the other two were obviously spoiled but I took a chance so I could taste the quality (well lack of quality) the ice used was not dri ice which is needed for any food that needs to be shipped frozen as this ice was melted which makes it seem like it was just frozen water. The entire caring process from butchering to packaging to shipping and delivery is so sub par it looks like it was done in somebody’s home kitchen and basement. Do not order and definitely do not consume these steaks or anything from this business as it’s not safe there is zero safety precautions used and could and will end up causing you to be very sick and end up in the hospital due to not knowing what types of bacteria could be lurking on these meats. I would recommend using Omaha Steaks there not perfect but they use much better quality meats and have a much safer and better care and quality/safety precautions used during the entire butchering, packaging and shipping process. Plus they have much better skilled butchers who have far better knowledge and skill as far as how to cut and trim a steak leaving the right amount of fat and marbling to leave a properly cooked steak juicy and allow the flavor of the meat to come through when eating. Unbelievable this company has been allowed to stay in business and put people in danger for this long.

That has to be the fattiest, ugly cut of meat I've ever seen. that's not marbling.
