Iconic "unhurried" style of writing.
Having been a resident of Dehradun myself, I bought this book to dredge up some nostalgia and ofcourse, having the pleasure of reading a Ruskin Bond again. Reading it is almost meditative. A major thumbs down to publisher Rupa for the book is married with spelling errors that completely destroy the pace of reading. They irritate like an out of tune singing of a novice. But ignoring that, the book gave me so much joy. Short and sweet read that makes you feel dreary once the last page is finished.

Love ruskin bond
Connecting with nature and enjoying small moments is something to me only bond can capture. Love all his books and loved this easy breezy read as well. It's exactly the same as the title. It is about his journey and people he encountered while travelling in and out of the city.

Memoir
Ruskin bond talks about his small yet memorable real life experience and journey in the hills. He talks about the places he visited 40 years ago .A very introspective view of author's life like a diary . Personally i really liked it and anybody can read as it's language is simple . My favourite is tungnath yatra and ghost from the hills.

good old nostalgia
Attaching the contents page, so you all can see which of these stories you have read or not read and if it's worth buying as most of these books often have a mix of repeated short stories

Classic Ruskin Bond
A beautiful little book that you hope you can keep on reading. But alas, it’s a short book. You will think of the book long after you have finished reading it.Note to publisher (Rupa) - Even to my untrained eye, I can see many spelling and printing mistakes. Please correct them, you are doing an injustice to a great writer.
