So I purchased these headphones primarily for swimming. Let me start by saying that I’ve been searching long and hard for a decent pair of headphones for swimming that require a built in MP3 player. I’ve owned Alpatronix which have been the best so far. I’ve tried Pyle that just didn’t sound good and other brands that usually just sounded like junk. When I purchased these Ovevo headphones I was very optimistic. The package was great, design and sound seemed really solid and the MP3 player worked fine for downloading music. I walked around the house using the MP3 player and all seemed good and I was pumped to get into the pool with these. This is where things went horribly wrong. First 2 laps, all good and these sounded even better than the Alpatronix headphones. But then halfway through lap 3, my Ovevo headset MP3 player suddenly turned off and the headset starting attempting to pair with Bluetooth. Shortly thereafter, the Ovevo’s started to power off right after powering on. Then, the voice prompt of “power on” stopped and the headset wouldn’t turn on at all. I tried charging them for a few hours and still no luck. I then plugged the Ovevo’s into my USB computer drive and I got an error message saying the drive was damaged! So, that was that and another failed attempt by a company making “waterproof” swim headphones with built in MP3. I’m starting to think all of these companies are buying the exact same MP3 players to put into their headsets because they all fail miserably. If anyone knows what I should try next, please let me know! In the meantime, I’m guessing the idea is way ahead of the technology.

This set of Bluetooth is actually waterproof. I used this in the swimming pool for the pass couple day, still working great. The only problem I have is it keeping trying to connect my phone underwater, need to unpair from phone to use local storage music.

Don't waste your money on these! They sound like cheap headphones and the volume lowers significantly when they get wet. I bought these for swimming, and a pair of swimming headphones they are not. I could not get them to stay in my ears for longer that two strokes. I thought the wrap around the ear would help but I thought wrong.

I bought thes in early 2019 when I swam more frequently. They worked for a couple swims then I stopped swimming laps. Used them on run and sometime in 2020 they stopped using English for the cues to tell you (on/off, incoming call, battery low,etc) whatever I put up with it. Then I got back in the pool to swim again, I used them for 30min in the pool, charged them up & then nothing the next time I tried to use them. IMO paying for headphones like this means they should last awhile (I didn’t even use them every day and never in the winter b/c when running I didn’t like my ear-warmer pushing the earbud into my ear.)

I was a little worried these wouldn't work for me because all swimming headphones I looked at that were less than like $200 had mixed reviews. I was pleasantly surprised by these. I have to wear a cap to keep them in when I'm swimming laps, but most people wear a cap anyway. It took me some adjusting to put them in and tuck them in to the cap in a way that worked for me, the first time I took them to the pool one side kept falling out, but once I figured them out they've worked really well. I swim laps for about 30 mins a few times a week and have had these for a few weeks. They've worked well. The sound quality isn't like headphones you wear out of water but that's to be expected. No matter what I get some water in my ear and that effects the sound quality. I've been listening to an audiobook and it's great, swimming laps is so monotonous, these have been a real game changer for me. I haven't had any technical difficulties, just some trouble getting them to stay in my ears. I only do freestlye and breaststroke, I would imagine they wouldn't work if you were diving or doing butterfly.

This set of headphones makes me very surprised! I have been swimming for 5 years and I always hope to listen to music while swimming. Now I can do it.After receiving the phone, I downloaded the music for the first time, so I can listen even if there is no other device. Yesterday I took them to swim with them. They are very compact and can be easily carried at any time. The sound quality of the headphones really surprised me, because in the water I can enjoy listening to my favorite music, and most importantly, they are waterproof!

bought this during the Thanksgiving sale and i am happy with the purchase. The quality of the headphones when it comes to the build and comfort is top class. It connects very easily with bluetooth devices like iPhones, MacBooks. The mic on the headphone is very good and people didn't notice any difference when i used it while talking on an iPhone. It charges quickly and provides 8-10 hours of battery life. The audio quality and noise cancelling features are amazing. It literally blocks every type of sound around you. Listening to music on these headphones is a wonderful experience as you hear sounds that you didn't before. A very worthy investment.

These are some solid little headphones that seem to have great sound quality and build quality for their price. However, I cannot recommend them for swimming since I've already had two different pairs die on me after just five minutes in the pool. The first ones never worked again but were exchanged for the second pair, but the second pair did work again after letting them dry out. I will still continue to use them because they seem to hold up to sweat pretty well, the built in mp3 is awesome for running, and the customer service is exceptional.
