8x ZOOM ONLY (not 40x as claimed)My 10x zoom binos provide a larger image than this supposed 40x60. I assume MAYBE it's 8x zoom (...or less).Quality of monocular feels nice, but since it's zoom claim is BOGUS, I didn't get the rest of the items out to assess them.

I like going for hikes and watching animals as I go along. This monocular is lightweight and easy to use. I have been just pulling it out and looking ahead closer to animals around. the focus adjustments and lens are very easy use and learn. anyone who like to watch animals or needs a monocular will get use out of this lightweight one.

40x60 ... I was so excited. 40x means it will magnify 40 times. Rubbish. There is no way it does. And the eyepiece is SO TINY and so sensitive to how you look through it, it's basically like looking down a 2 foot soda straw to get anything reasonable in view. In fact the entire thing is just TINY. The pix I looked at on Amazon did not have a human hand in view, which is why I uploaded one. It's barely longer than the width of my hand.

My husband took this Monocular to the deer stand this weekend and it was great. He didn't have to use the scope on his gun to look at the deer in the clearing and risk them sensing movement. Being able to take pictures to show the kids was an added bonus.

It doesn't work like it says, no zoom as they show on the video. No extra hard ware to hook up to camera// phone as you would assume, Assumption is the mother of all scams. One more sucked in!

I bought this thinking that it was supposed to be rated as equivalent to a pair of 40x60 binoculars I have. But the power is much lower than the binoculars. It does magnify things a bit, but nearly as much as I had thought it would. I also got it to attach to my phone so that I could take zoomed pictures. While the attachment works, the pictures don't really come out well. So bottom line - it works ok as a monocular, its just less magnification than advertised.

Ordered this as our dog chewed our camera up and I don't have a great zoom on my phone. I hooked my phone (iPhone 6s Plus) up using the bracket thing, holds the phone very still. I could zoom in on stuff on other side of our property which is pretty cool. I used with and without the tripod, I like using with the tripod. Very pleased with this purchase.
