Review: Clean design, Smooth typing, and great wireless preformance! - I’ve been using this Keychron KJ5 for a little while now and it honestly surprised me. The white keyboard with the pastel RGB lighting looks really clean in person and fits nicely on my desk without looking overly “gamer.” The lighting is softer than I expected, which I actually like because it gives a subtle glow instead of being distracting. The banana switch it comes with feels really nice to type on. It has a light tactile bump that makes typing feel precise without being stiff or loud. It’s noticeably smoother than the basic mechanical keyboards I’ve used before, and I can type on it for long periods without my hands getting tired. The full-size layout is a big plus for me because I use the number pad a lot. The keys feel stable and the keyboard itself has a solid weight to it, so it doesn’t slide around on the desk. Setup was quick and the wireless connection has been reliable so far with no lag while typing. Another thing I like is that the switches are hot-swappable, which means you can change them out later if you want a different feel without replacing the whole keyboard. Overall this feels like a really solid mechanical keyboard for the price. It looks clean, feels comfortable to type on, and the build quality is better than I expected.
