8' X 11' Natural Step 1/4" Thick Non Slip Rug Pad - Safe for all floors

The service was impeccable. I contacted the RP Warehouse to have the pad cut to fit my rug and they responded immediately, cut the rug to the right size (despite my faulty instructions) and shipped it within a day. The whole process was painless.So the low rating really goes to the quality of the pad: it feels uneven underfoot as if the material it is made out of has a different density in spots. This sort of makes for a weird experience when walking on a thin or medium carpet. I have a gabbeh rug that cost about 1K, and is hand-knotted pretty consistently, so the experience with this pad is a real disappointment.

Pros - My tiles have some textures on them and this rug pad seems to grip the tile floor well. I also like the thickness of it in my case.Cons - the installation instruction sheet was not written in easy-to-understand format in plain English and therefore difficult to read. It had no description on installation on tiles, e.g. which side (rubber or felt) should touch the tiles. This may not seem obvious to everyone so an explicit description would help.

Ordered this for a large rug in our bedroom that never vacuumed easily. Was advised to buy a pad for underneath that would make it easier for vacuuming, and it did work.

This is a good product. It arrived very promptly and was easy to cut to size. I like that it's made ofrecylcled materials. In addition, it's very "clean" which is to say that upacking and installing itdid not result in my having to clean up lots of schmutz from the process. Recommended.

Thickness of the pad is good as was the size, however my rug slips on it. I wish it had a non-slip backing.

We bought two of these for bedroom rugs we had custom made from carpet at the local carpet store. We wanted something to add a little padding and warmth under the rugs. I placed the order late Thursday night and Friday morning, they sent me an email back saying they were cutting the pads. It was shipped later that day and arrived by Tuesday at my home. The size is spot on and looks like a high-quality rug mat. However, it is listed as "non-slip," which it is not. We are constantly having to pull the rug and mat--and two sofas and a coffee table--to reset them into place. I had thought that between the "non-slip" aspect and having three heavy pieces of furniture on top of it, any slippage would not be an issue. Unfortunately, it is, and my previous, "too-small" mat was better.

We put these pads under our rugs that lie on top of rich, dark brown hardwood flooring. This product is a must because we started to see some damage to our floors from the high traffic area where one of our rugs lie. The damage to the floor was an outline of the rug where it got stepped on the most- looked like it was faded. My husband and I decided then and there that we need to put pads underneath, right away. We worked too hard and spent too much money on the hardwood to have it ruined. Thickness is perfect and I know this product is natural, which means a lot since synthetic chemicals put in some rug pads may damage the floors over time. So far we are satisfied and would buy again.
