This is amazing! I've used it to practice making macrame plant hangers, and it works well! The color is true to the listing, it's been one continuous strand so far, and it feels strong and good quality for the price.

This macrame cord actually worked very well for making some crochet keychains! It feels durable and very strong. It was super easy to work with as well. The purple color I got is vibrant and so very pretty! The skein size is pretty decent for the price paid honestly. I feel this would make such a cool bag as well and plan on trying that out in the future when I can pick up more. It does unravel as a lot of braided cord like this does so make sure to seal the ends before working with it to prevent unraveling while working!

This is a fairly stiff cord, though it does have some flexibility to it. I found it a little difficult to crochet with because of it's stiffness. The stitch definition is quite nice though. I could clearly see all of my stitches and where the next stitch should go. It holds its shape well, making it good for things like bags, purses, and plant hangers. I didn't really enjoy crocheting with it, but I didn't hate working with it either. For a project that needs a lot of structure, this would work well, but this wouldn't be my first choice for my average crochet project. I didn't find it particularly soft, but it also wasn't particularly rough. The texture is what I would expect from a this type of cord. It does not lend itself well to being unbraided for tassels and the likes. The structure is closer to a knitted cord instead of a braided one. The ends fray a bit, and cutting the cord would result in fraying. Being polyester, you can burn the end to stop the fraying. You could also use a smaller needle to stitch in ends to secure them. The color is lovely. The sax blue is bright and vibrant. The amount of yards you get is reasonable for thickness and the price. There is enough to make a small project, like a placemat or small bag, with a single ball.

At first, I was concerned that this thread would be too big for the plant hangers I will be making with it. Then, when I got it here and was able to feel it, I was concerned that it would be puny, and that with use, the weight would cost you tension and leave my plants on the floor. Good thing about this is it doesn’t, so it can be used for the old school macrame I have in mind. It arrived very soft to the touch, not frayed. This material would be pleasant to work with on a bigger project. It has a nice neutral (but saturated) color, and you just hand wash and hang dry. There are even good instructions on side for knitting, crochet and macrame, if passing this yarn and seeing the instructions is what’s kept you off of knitting your whole life.

Not good for macrame. Difficult to work with due to poor manufacturing quality control. The polyester/polypropylene blend doesn't grip
