Doesnโt work
Would not load at all. Inside the case it looks all grimy. My son used his allowance to buy this himself. Not satisfied at all and would not recommend

As an old game it still runs well and is a great game for boring afternoons. The game was discontinued 5 years ago as newer versions are out but still great!! I would recommend if you are taking a trip down memory lane.

You can't say anything new about Minecraft really. Such an amazing game. My wife can't figure it out, but my 9yr old and I adore it and the split screen multiplayer option for local play is what makes this Xbox One version unmissable. I miss the option to personalise your Minecraft experience with mods, but the different textures and maps provided (at extra cost I should warn) made up for this to an extent. We played for hours in the Norse map which is absolutely fantastic. Was a bit disappointed with some of the other maps, but enjoyed the puzzle aspects of the Greek mythology map. Look forward to updates to the game. Don't care about bug fixes Mojang. Get those mods installed.

I love this game. As my five-year-old is always wanting to play Halo and other unsuitable games with his much older brother, he and I were both pleased with the Halo 'texture pack' that is one of the options. His favourite though is the festive one as he likes building and playing in the virtual 'snow'. This keeps him amused for ages and the music is soothing and not unpleasant to have on in the background. If they're going to be stuck in front of screens for a while it might as well be doing something creative! The world within Minecraft is so vast I don't think you could ever get bored of it; there are always new things you can discover, design and build. It's relatively easy for a young child to figure out but they might not want to play it on survival mode as you have to protect yourself from (not very scary) spiders and zombies when it gets dark.

The daughter loves this game. Call me naive but I didn't realise you needed Xbox gold Membership to play this game and at ยฃ5.99 a month that's a lot considering the game is relatively cheap to buy. I wouldn't have brought the game if I was aware of this. Even reading the back of the box there is one tiny little sentence that says you require membership.
