Narrow Flat Athletic Shoelaces - High Durability 2 Pair Pack

These seem like very high quality shoe laces. The narrow size made them easier to thread through the existing holes in my shoes. There was no exact match to the size of the original laces, so I ordered a slightly longer length. The new laces fit perfectly, so i was very pleased about that. The only negative was the blue colour of the laces was not an exact match to the navy blue colour of the shoe. But, that's not the manufacturers fault. There are so many shades of navy blue, they can't match everything. Just be aware these laces are on the brighter blue end of the navy spectrum. My shoes were a darker navy colour. I like the laces other than the colour, so I'm going to keep them. I doubt many people will notice the colour is not an exact match.

Shoe laces might not seem like such a big deal, but with shoes being a multi-billion dollar industry, shoe laces really are a big deal when we spend so much on shoes. I purchased these laces for my mom, as one of the laces on her Nike's broke. I've always bought Nike shoes for myself but when a shoe lace has broken, Nike will not sell you the original laces for replacement, which are the quality and color needed to make your Nike's look like Nike's. I believe they expect you to purchase new shoes if you don't want to use any off-Nike brand shoe lace replacements. Every time I've purchased off-brand shoe laces to replace the broken originals, I was never able to get the same quality and color. Also, even though there are so many colors available out there to choose from, there just never is a color close enough to the original. I explained that to my mom and set out to order her a pair here on Amazon. I spent more time than I probably should have looking at all of the various laces from different sellers as I was determined not to purchase something that would disappoint her. After all that time I kept coming back to these laces because they appeared to be the closest match to what my mom had. So, I took a leap of faith and ordered them. LOL - I hit the Shoe Lace Jackpot. The laces got to her within 2 days and they matched her original Nike laces perfectly -- quality and color. When mom is happy, everybody is happy! :)

I do not ever write a review, but had to this time. These fit and look better than the original shoelaces that came with my altra lone peak 2 running shoes. These are stronger and a better color. I had gone to our local shoe repair store and they didn't have any flat narrow shoelaces. Really thrilled with these. They are the perfect length at 52 inches. I think this company ought to supply altra whose shoelaces are far inferior with these shoelaces. I have had several altra's and the laces always break. They are thinner than these. So happy with this purchase!

I bought these to replace the ugly "polka dot" reflective shoelaces on the Reebok Nano 9. Narrow flat 56" is a perfect fit, being only about an inch shorter than the original laces. The only con is the shoelace material. It feels like cotton, but the point is that it looks like it will fray pretty easily. I don't think it'll survive many rope climbs. The original Nano 9 shoelace is a more slick, durable material.

Edit: I sincerely apologize for the mistake I made in my review posted on February 21, 2021 (see below). The lace pictured there actually _was_ my original. I thought I had replaced it with the OrthoStep lace. But when I found the OrthoStep (I bought the 2-pack), I realized I haven't replaced it yet. Both pairs were still there in the original package! I also noticed that the OrhtoStep laces are twice as thick as the ones that originally came with the shoes. So they should last a long time. I did not receive any compensation nor was contacted from the seller/manufacturer to change my review. I edited/updated it simply because I wanted to correct my mistake. I also changed the rating from 1 star to 5 stars. Below is my original (wrong) review for you to see: "My original laces of my shoe were very much worn out after about 10 years of use. So I bought these back in March 2020 as the spares while waiting for the original ones to break. They finally did around September 2020. Yes. I take good care of my garments so they last very long. So I put these OrthoStep Narrow Flat laces on and thinking, "oh, these will last for a good number of years." But nope. One of the broke a few days ago around the place where I tie it. Today is Sunday February 21, 2021. So it breaks only after 6months. Doesn't look like the material can withstand the rubbings, which is very bad. A hammer should expect repeated high impacts; a shovel should expect to be thrust into the ground repeatedly; and shoelaces should expect to be rubbed against itself as people tie them."

Purchased to replace a pair of blue laces on some blue Under Armour boys shoes. The factory laces were too short and always untied, frayed within weeks of purchase. The color of these were spot on and were longer. Very pleased with this purchase and will order again!

Good quality, high price for laces, length was far too short for a youth basketball shoe as well. Took too long to finally swap out the old and it’s too late to return now.

These are great basic laces, it looks like the ends are nicely finished and should stand up to wear & tear. Easy to lace and the flat construction prevents damage to the eyelet on the shoes. A key challenge is figuring out how long the laces should be for your kid's shoes. Take out the existing laces and measure them for accuracy. I found that 30" was about right for an 8yo sneaker, and 42" seemed to work for a kid's high top sneaker.
