Flat Whisk by Kokel Cookware - Stainless Steel Wire Whisk - Best Cooking Whisk or Cooking Tool

I bought my first flat wisk from William Sonoma. I loved it so much and when my mother came to visit she loved it as well. I bought one for her and she in turn bought one for her mom and sisters. This Thanksgiving I was about to make my gravy and my flat wisk is gone. I have young boys and dogs, who knows where they could have dragged it off to. My sister in law was here and didn't understand why a for wouldn't work just the same. I told her I would buy her a flat wisk and her opinion would be changed forever. I went on William Sonoma's sight to replace my wisk and buy one for my Sis and I could not believe how expensive they were. I thought I would try Amazon, I buy everything else here. I found this beautiful wisk, it's made in America and it is less than half the price of William Sonoma. I sent one off and my Sis loves it. She is so happy that I think I will give the one I bought for myself as a gift for a friend's birthday and order another for myself. Unless my missing wisk suddenly appears in a hole in my yard or a kids closet. This wisk is life changing, you will toss all your old whisks once you try this out. It also has a lifetime guarantee!

I looked in my local stores for a flat whisk this size and couldn't find one. I love this whisk!!! All my years of cooking and I am a 63 year old wife and mother, I never even heard of a flat whisk until I watched a youtube video on making gravy in a rectangular roasting pan and saw how easily a flat whisk could get in the corners of the pan when making gravy. Can't wait to use it for my Thanksgiving gravy this year. I like that this whisk is all stainless steel and won't rust and the area where all the prongs come together into the handle is made of plastic, which is where I had problems with other whisks rusting. This is a high quality professional looking tool. I love this product and this company. I would highly recommend this whisk. Made in USA too. I like that.

This is an excellent whisk. I wasn't expecting it to be offset - the whisk part is bent a bit out from the handle, I suppose for ergonomics, but it's not quite natural for my wrist to use yet. That said, it does the job just fine. It's larger than my previous whisk but gets into the pans' edges just fine, which is what I want out of my flat (roux) whisks! I'd recommend it for anyone who needs a flat whisk, just be aware it's not perfectly flat. The handle is metal but I haven't noticed any overheating problems and the whisk is very easy to keep clean.I definitely appreciated how strong the wires are in this whisk - it stands up to a lot more than my previous one did.

Strong and well made but a bit awkward to use.

Let me start by saying that I don't usually write reviews. I am this time because I am so pleased with this whisk. It is very good quality with thick stainless steel wire and I love using it to make omelettes. I am also glad that it is made in America. That is hard to find these days and I feel it is important to buy American.

I had seen this utensil used on a cooking show several times and wanted to see for myself: it is very versatile! It is a great tool for the kitchen. The fact that it is made in USA is a major plus for our family!The supplier was spot on in delivering this product.

I used the whisk today...never owned one. The whisk is very nice and theplus is that it's made in America! I believe in supporting our countryand it's workers!:-)One less job lost to China!!!! Great customer service also!
