Nice
I really, really like this toaster. The knobs and handles are nice and solid feeling, not jangly like a lot of others. Also the adjustment knob is large and easy to turn even when your fingers aren’t exactly clean and/or dry...you lose butter! The bun warming rack may not seem like something you’d ever really want or need but it has come in handy for me more than once. I use if if I can’t get to my toasty bread soon enough and I don’t want it to sit and cook but I also don’t want it sitting out, just lay it on top of the warming rack and it stays just that...warm:) It looks great on my counter. it cleans up very easy. The cord is longer than the one I replaced and it’s a softer rubber so it bends and lays better as well. I don’t know what the deal is with no label(s) or emblems on it but that’s one of my favorite things about it, it’s just clean and sleek looking.I recommend!

Great-looking toaster with modern features works well.
This is a nice-looking, substantially built toaster. My example works as advertised, came well packed with instructions, and is easy to use. When two pieces are inserted, the toast comes out equally browned, not perfectly even all across the slice, but as any normal toaster produces. When one slice is toasted at a time, the inner side is browner because of the extra heat passing through from the empty slot. The blue buttons appear to come on properly, with the one blue light indicating toasting and it also may be pressed to Cancel. There is a lever for raising the warming holder, and a slide-out tray for cleaning the crumbs. So far I am perfectly happy with it. The instructions say that the first few cycles will cause the packing lubricant to evaporate, so I ran it four or five times empty and indeed the odor was gone. It does look handsome on the counter and it's not much bigger that my old one, having wider slots for thicker items.

Uneven toasting
I mean, it’s ok. Cheaper toasters have the very same toasting pattern, though. I spent more than I usually would because I thought I’d get a superior product. I attached pics. This is typical of everything I toasted. Dark on the bottom, barely toasted on the top. The lowering basket just doesn’t take the items deep enough into the toaster. Push down the basket with nothing in it and you’ll see that the center heating elements do not glow as intensely as the outer one do. Result? Uneven browning which necessitates you to flip your item for even toasting. The “frozen” button is just eye candy. It doesn’t do anything to a frozen item that isn’t done by using the normal setting. The warming rack is a nice feature.Solidly built, looks good.I wouldn’t buy another one due to the uneven browning.Their literature says I can request a refund if I’m not happy, but I’m not a whiner. It mostly does its job and I don’t feel like being disappointed by another small appliance.

Not special
Been using this for a couple of months, trying to find more reasons to like it. Despite the item page claim of extra large slots, bagel halves often greatly resist going into the slots. I've been toasting English muffins on setting 6 (7 is max) and they are barely medium done at that point. I've been toasting them again, every time. Looking inside during toasting, many of the filament segments on the inner sides of both slots appear, by lack of glow, to be underperforming. Maybe they're supposed to be that way. If I want to terminate the toasting before it pops up, you have to push a button, which also requires holding the back side of the toaster to overcome the resistance of the button. Lifting the lever, which would be way more convenient, does not seem to be an option. I have not found any use for the bread warmer yet.In my opinion this toaster is not worth double the price of the least expensive new toasters that I could buy.

Great product; works well
Great product; works well. My only issue is that the slots are not quite wide enough to handle the bagels from either Sam's Club or Costco. I mean those bagles will fit in; but I do have to push it down a bit. The descriptions says the slots are 3.5 inches wide; that's actually the measurement of both slots combined from one edge to the other. The actual slot opening is 1.25 inches each, and you have two of them (the 1 inch diff is the edges). I wish the slots were at least 1.5 inches each. If you are looking for wider slots, you should be looking out for descriptions of at least 4 inches; if there is such a toaster.

Malfunctioned, early. Had to return. Replaced with like model...
I bought this toaster and really liked it! However, twice inside of the first month it would not lock a slice of break down in the cook position nor did the coils come on even when I held the handle down. It cleared up after some manhandling but only for another week. The second time it malfunctioned, I returned it to Amazon inside of the return period. They refunded my money. Things happen, I guess. I have replaced the toaster with an identical model as I did like my first one's features when it was working. Giving the model a second chance...

This Toaster is ELECTRIFYING!
This simple and effective toaster is a great addition to my kitchen! Its incredibly simple to use and it comes with more functions than i knew i needed from a toaster! Not only does it toast, it also WARMS! I constantly find that once ive toasted an entire loaf of bread, the first slices of toast end up cold and lifeless. However, with this toaster, you can revive your frigid, uncooperative toasts so that they are warm and ready for spreads and toppings, just like they were freshly toasted! Also, there is a cancel button, which is great, because occasionaly i immediately regret my decision to toast something, and i feel safer knowing i can back out at the last second.Although the toaster has a gentle pop-up feature when the toast is done, i prefer to dig the toasts out with a butterknife. Some people say thats dangerous, but, to each their own!
