Works as expected, but have a couple deficiencies I don't like:1- Eats battery even when the power switch is set to OFF.No idea why, but the LCD will stay on, even if the device is completely off.If the battery is not removed it will be depleted, so make sure to always disconnect the battery and carry an extra new battery.2- Its a bit bulky, specially when compared to other brand that can be folded for storage (ends up being 50% smaller than this one)On the good side, I've been able to measure air rifle pellets (.22 cal, 14.5gr) up to .308 bullets, so it works with a nice selection of projectiles.Will I buy it again?hmm maybe, but before doing it I'll make sure to double check the other brand that "folds" and has metal case so it is easier to carry.

when I bought this product I was a little reluctant on how much I was going to use it, now that I have it here a lot of my friends come over to use it as well, we throw just about everything through this thing just to see how fast it flies. It has been very accurate and it is easy to set up the CD included in the package, one thing I do want to recommend as you do get the optional lighting system for it if you're going to use it indoors at all normal lighting will not be enough to get accurate readings. Having the optional lighting system on this you can shoot it indoors and get extremely accurate readings

Product works exactly as described. Learn from my mistake, if you plan to use it indoors just buy the manufacturers light kit. I spent way too many hours researching 'black magic' on the interweb on how to get consistent and accurate indoor recordings (led puck lights, high intensity overhead, halogen, superman laser eyes..). Waste of time and probably as much money as just buying the light kit in the beginning. The chrony works great, and I like it for it simple and lightweight design which i primarily use indoors for airgun recording. The software that comes with the USB digital link does allow for fractional bullet weights to be entered so it is 'air gun' compatible.

Does just what I hoped it would do. It is very easy to set up and the software is easy to download the stats to the computer once you figure it out. I change the format to excel worksheet after I download it so I could add some other statements to it. I only gave it 4 stars because I haven't had it long enough to determine it's reliability or durability.

I bought this so I could try out new reloading "recipes." I have used it several times and have found it quick to set up and use. I especially like that I can save the data on my computer using Excel. This allows me to see trends and revisit my prior "recipe" speeds.

The best Chrono I've had! Bought the lite kit and USB gear. It's nice to be able to print up a info sheet for my customers. We build and upgrade HK's to the MP5SD suppressed model and have to keep velocities right under the speed of sound.

I've only used it once so far but, works perfectly. The software program required me to go online to download the latest version in order for that part to work properly. But, that information was all in the directions. Very happy with this purchase.

What is there to say. This is a well-known and popular product. mine arrived quick and works properly. After a month and a half worth of use it has never failed to record the projectile.
