I went slowly and it worked just fine. I put strips on the sides also. Similar to the stainless but more reflective *by R***Y on January 18, 2025* For what this is it is great. I’m sure there are other products that look more like stainless but this did the job for me. $22 and I had the felt covered squeegee for install. If you can get your self one as it helped get rid of the air bubbles. Cutting was interesting but I took my time. The exacto knife would really grab as it is not like normal vinyl. Not really stretchy. I didn’t use heat as I was just trying to upgrade the look of my dish washer with out spending the money on a new stainless steel model. Texture is good. But like the title says it does look more chrome when you first see it rolled up. Once I applied it did have more of a stainless look. I first installed and the lines were vertical.
