While I do not live right on the coast I am in an area that can feel the effects of a Nor'easter or a hurricane. I have a generator that is mounted on a 4 wheel cart which I locate to my trash enclosure next to my house that is fenced. The 5 by 5 foot canopy is used as a top for the enclosure keeping the generator out of the rain. When deployed it is firmly and securely lashed to the fence enclosure keeping the rain out of the generators' electrical equipment. Much better than trying to lash a tarp over that enclosure.

I bought the beige/tan color, which was perfect color and size to match my housepaint color. We use it seasonally for a temporary "porch" during rainy season, on a side door that is visible to the street. This canopy looks very nice and not cheesy. It is hard to find this small size, but it fit perfectly for our needs.
