Fun for making travel games in a tin.
I liked that strong contrast in the pips (dots) made them easy to read, and that they are well painted. Some cheaper dice the dots are misaligned or the color quality is poor. These are good enough quality to actually play a game with.Ok this was just fun: I used these to make some travel dice games in Altoids tins. Then gave them to my Nephews. (Golf size pencils work well for score keeping and fitting into a small tin.) You could also line the bottom of the tin with felt so that the box becomes a place to throw the dice into so they don't go flying off the table. Farkle, Yahtzee, Liar Dice, shut the box etc can all be made into compact fun little travel editions with dice this size and a little work on a computer making score cards. ;)The kids love them and we can play with them as well, but the dice are a bit to small for Grandma and Grandpa to handle well or read. These are roughly the size of a large Pea or average Blueberry.
