I really wanted to like this mix and such mix would have been perfect for a long boat cruise where space and refrigeration do not come that easy.Anyway, Once I mixed the powder with water, the mix is fairly spicy and not bad tasting but as soon as I added Grey Goose to it, it just did not work for me. BTW, this tasted more like a Bloody Mary than a Cesar. I guess I will stick to Mr & Mrs T for a Mary mix and good old Clamato juice for a Cesar.Just a warning: do not take a breath while pouring the dry mix into your glass. The powder is so fine that it took over my surroundings, entered my airways and made me sneeze like crazy.

I wasn't sure what to expect based on other reviews. Now that I've tried them, I like 'em for what they are; a quick, lightweight, easy way to make an Old Fashioned in the field. Is it the best Old Fashioned I've had? No. Is it the worst? Not by a long shot. The mix is easy, I like how the package is measured for you, making it super simple to get the right amounts put together. The taste is better than ok. A bit sweet for me, but not over the top. For a cocktail mix that you can literally put in your pocket, these are awesome. If you're so picky that things have to be exact, then carry the fruit, bitters, sugar and measuring devices as well as the booze with you and enjoy. If you want a really refreshing, easy to make cocktail that you can carry the mix in your pocket and enjoy an Old Fashioned after a long day on the trail, this is a great option.

I don't know what I expected of a dehydrated, low-carb margarita, but it just didn't begin to compare to the real thing. But it was super-light and small and packable.

Taste is somewhat short of an old fashioned, however if your next to a camp fire on a hiking or backpack hunting trip this is sure to help you relax and give the backwoods cocktail you’ve been looking for.

A little bit watered down but will work in a pinch

This is a great, lightweight product, that can easily spice up your backcountry concoctions. I took the Cherry Infused Old Fashioned for a test run in the Catskills. I love a good cocktail at the end of a hard day, but when it comes to a good drink while backpacking, I am always restricted by what I can carry in my pack, which means luxuries like bitters and citrus fruits are left behind. This lightweight powder yielded a pleasantly flavored cocktail that wasn't overly sweet, and gave me that always sought after variety that can sometimes be hard to come by when you are carrying your whole world on your back. Bottom line, if you want to change up your backcounty bar routine this is a great way to add variety without adding on weight and extra gear to carry. The measuring line on the packet allowed me to make a quick cocktail without having to dig out a measuring cup, and gave me a consistent taste every time. The taste was as close to any Old Fashioned as I would have made at home, which is all you could every ask for when you are miles from civilization.

Was... ( and trying to be nice here) not good at all. I'd rate it pretty high on the convenience scale, but if you're after something that tastes good then keep scrolling. I love the idea, but I think you're better off tossing the packet and drinking the bourbon with a little crushed ice.

I was excited to try this product. It was tough to decide which flavor to first try, but I went with the traditional margarita taste. The box came with four individual sized packets. The directions are very simple, placed one packet of the powder, add water (fill the packet 4 times), and add 1.5 fl oz tequila. I mixed mine in a shaker with ice to make it nice and cold. It provided a good amount of margarita, and I split it with my wife. Ill be honest, it was delicious. These not only would be perfect for camping, hiking, traveling, etc, but are also good to have around the house for a quick and easy cocktail. It was not too salty or sour, but just perfect. I definitely recommend these for those looking for an easy drink, or the adventurous outdoors folk.
