Hallmark Recordable Storybook, "That's What Grandmas Do" Hardcover – January 1, 2013

Had a hard time getting it to record right. It would start recording in the middle of the book but not at the first. Put in new batteries and finally I got it to work right. I gave it to my grandbaby who is not here yet, so not sure how long it will work after that but feel certain it will do just fine. Thank you.

This book was for my granddaughter's First Birthday. The instructions were easy enough to follow for recording but also too easy to delete the recording. The button is right out in the open and she immediately pushed it as soon as we opened the book. I had to keep recording over and over even though it was saving the recording, it would delete as soon as she pushed the button.

I appreciated the tips on how to record that were included. It was important to know that I needed to have a light source close overhead and to lay he book flat while recording. My grandchildren love to have books with my voice reading the story. I just wish I could order these directly from Hallmark.

We've done recordable books for our grandchildren. My husband recently passed and I was so happy to find a book perfectly written for me to give to them for this year. What a lasting memory these books are!!

This Hallmark recordable book was fun to record and will be given to my 2 year old granddaughter for Christmas this year. She loves these recordable books a lot and will listen to them over and over until my daughter-in-law gets tired of hearing my voice. (Ha Ha) Once again, I wish there were more "story" books instead of so many "touchy feely" ones.

The book is pretty and very simple to use. I would have given it 5 stars except my son said the recording didn't sound like me.

I covered the outside wording to read Nana's and when I recorded the inside of the book, I spoke Nanas because that is who I am to my granddaughter. She LOVED it.

My granddaughter moved far away and I wanted something to connect with her. This is a sweet book that's easy to use. The instructions for recording were very clear and it sounded great when I was finished. I would highly recommend this book. If you follow the simple instructions you will be pleased with the sound quality.

We are very pleased with this recordable book. Good for children under 8 yrs or so. Grandpa read along with Grandma. We just shared the lines and he kept saying "And Grandpa too". That made our granddaughter giggle. Seems expensive until you realize just how many times the child will read it!

A little difficult to get the recording to work well

What a truly amazing book. I was so happy to be able to give this to my Grandson and so looking forward to him being able to have the sound of my voice read this book to him.
