Superb all round variety. The red stalks are long & tender and are reputed to have the lowest content of oxalic acid of all rhubarb. Early maturing, establishes quickly. Can be harvested lightly in the first year by snapping or cutting the outer stalks, that will allow it to clump up for the following season. Excellent for forcing and very easy to grow. Hardy & disease resistant. This product is supplied in a 3L rigid pot with a colour label providing planting instructions and after care information. It is well packaged to ensure maximum protection during transport. Our plants are either grown or grown on at our nursery in Blairgowrie, Perthshire - the heart of Scotland!
