Lockitron TRON200QS (Quicksilver) Bolt-Alexa Enabled Smart Lock

The lock broke in our door after a month of use. My husband had to come home from work and break into our house by hoisting our 5 year-old through a window. We didn't have use of our front door for 24 hours and we had to pay a locksmith $165 to get it out of the door. When he saw it he said, "I wouldn't lock my trashcan with a lock like this."Fhraze LLC wouldn't stand behind their product or refund the $93 they took from us. They referred us to Lockitron and were resolute about their 30 day return policy. Mostly I am livid that neither Amazon or Fhraze LLC stand by a product they profited from.

Simple to install and setup. Had some wireless interference with my Ring doorbell. Turned off all of the the location sense features and that seems to have cleared up those issues. Also bought the bridge, simple setup as well. I expected it to be a little better built but it does what they say it will. Have been unlocking my door from work, dinner, everywhere. Love it.

Their is some stuff missing in the device, I can’t use this away from my home. How to use with Alexa and away from the home

Avoid this garbage.I funded the kickstarter for this early on, lived with their excuses for delays for 3 years, tolerated it's terrible user experience and support for almost 3 more years hoping they'ed work out some easily solvable kinks in their UX. Two days ago it finally gave out due to the shoddy quality of the deadbolt with metal piece shattering and leaving me locked outside. Even before that, I've had two occasions where there was a hardware issue that caused the unit to become unresponsive and require a hard reboot and firmware upgrade, luckily of which only one was when I was outside.So there you have it:- Literally broken in under 3 years- Locked me out once, but could have been twice, due to bad firmware.- Was unresponsive for for over 15 seconds hundreds of times- Was unresponsive for > 1 minute dozens of times.On top of that the app is a real piece of work. It can't seem to remember the state of the lock from the last time the APP set the lock. Locked the door a while ago? Display UNLOCKED until it syncs again, which often takes quite a while. Clicked the UNLOCKED button while it wasn't synced? Well, good for you, because somehow it thinks it's great to queue up a LOCK command to run later after you unlock it. It's got two states and one job of letting you switch between the two, yet somehow it'll never fail to surprise you how badly this app could behave.

This company has awful service and the product barely works. It will drain the battery from your phone and you will simply be out a lot of money. Check their website and user community if you need more verification....

Mine works fine i use it for my studio business and it helps me get my employees in the building and when one is terminated i can disarm their access.

Just updated my review. Unfortunately support for this product has gone downhill, and the product itself has been highly unreliable. Sense is a joke. I've never been able to get it to work outside of the first 20 days of setting it up and it would "sense" at 2 am and unlock the door while we were sleeping in the bed. I was able to get one of the units with the bridge. Can't have two bolts setup on the same bridge. so basically only one can work. Apparently they only think you have one lock on your house. If you have two i was told it isn't designed for it.Current situation: Looking for another lock..

I'm one of the original crowd funders. I've been using my Lockitron for about two years. It simply works well! I've never had an issue with it, and does exactly what it is supposed to do.
