Rosai and Ackerman's Surgical Pathology: Expert Consult: Online and Print, 10e (Surgical Pathology (Ackerman's)) - 2 Volume Set 10th Edition

I strongly reccomend this book and suggest you to buy the kindle version. Beneath saving trees and resources, like Co2 needed for the shipping, you get a 2 volumes 10 kg book in your ipad/kindle, always with you ready to be consulted whenever you are.

As an anatomical pathology resident I am completely satisfied with this compendium from a practical and scentific point of view. Purchasing and use it in the bundle with Sternberg's/Mills' "Histology for Pathologists" + first ten (general) chapters of Robbins & Cotran's book would be the "Siddur, Torah, and Talmud" for every AP resident. (That doesn't substitute profound further reading of specialized literature, actually.)Nevertheless, in the Kindle version - which is preferrable for me for many reasons - I've just noticed a single, but essential, "bug", i.e. complete absence of search option through the text. (You'll be given a report that "The title is not indexed yet".) The only solution is to go the Alphabetical Index in the end and then to find an appropriate article with a hyperlink. That all leads to much more wasting time for searching, comparing with the paperback version (I tried both since the latter is in our laboratory:-)). Hope the publisher will solve this problem as soon as possible.

I got a great book with good actualy and recent advances in pathology.

Ackerman Rosai is an excellent reference book for all pathologists, I have bought it since I was a resident 30 years ago. However, up to where I have read this new edition I have noted that it fails in treating the new Gleason score updated on 2005 and it treats only a few words about serrated adenomas. Obviating this, its an excellent work, our reference of every day. I highly recommend it.
