You can make these work
They are shorter than the pic makes them look. They are a bit of a pain to attach, because the inner washers slip over the nut that is supposed to stop the inside washer from slipping. I needed to find a washer with a smaller id to make them clamp to the cage, but that wasn't too hard. My birds like them!

Not for medium or large birds.
Came in broken, i was able to get it on the cage for my budgies but if you have any type of medium to large parrot...they will be able to bite small piece off and bend washer and nut.

My birds love these. They are great for connecting cages or making trails to explore different areas. They are also nice sleeping perches.
