Expensive product but it is probably better to use it on a Chris King ring drive which I do. However, contrary to the Chris King literature, I do not use it on the hub bearings because it weeps out of the seals to quickly to suit me. A thicker grease has longer service life in the bearings and I don't like to pry out the seals any more than I have to. I service the bearings every third time I service the ring gear. In this case one bottle of Chris King ring drive oil is near a lifetime supply.

Needed for maintaining Chris King cycling hubs such as the R45 series. No other lube will work on the bearings.

I took apart my Chris King R45 Disc rear hub one night and wiped some dust out.. After that I started getting a creak sound on my pedal down-stroke, every time I put any power into it.. I ordered this after switching out my bottom bracket and continuing to get the creak sound. I took the hub apart and wiped it completely clean before re-lubing all parts with this oil. CREAK GONE! :)This stuff is outstanding, and you only need to use a little bit.Highly recommended.

Did what it needed to do. I spent the time rebuilding my King hubs last winter and only needed a small amount of this lube. It hasn't failed me and the applicator on the tube was easy to use.

Quality lube for quality bearings. Note - If you are rebuilding Chris King hubs, buy new seal and snap ring kits, will work much better. CK says you can re-use old seals and snap rings but it's cheap and easier to start w/ fresh stuff.
