I had bought a new reel and was using it for the fist time during a tournament. I had tied on a Trokar hook. When I got a bite I went to set the hook that is the moment that I realized that I had not adjusted the drag on the brand new reel. The spool practically free spooled. I thought there was no chance I was getting this fish in. I was able to get the fish in and it was a perfect hook in the top of the mouth. I was shocked that the hook was able to set in with no drag on the reel. It made me very confident in these hooks and I will probably use Trokar for all my hooks.

I just started using this hook and it is great! I am using it with Zoom Flukes and getting great "natural" hook sets on large mouth bass. I ran out of them and tried a different manufacturer's product, and I missed two fish. I can't wait to receive this order.

Worst hook set ratio I've EVER experienced. I am very experienced bass fisherman. I fish in tournaments and have been bass fishing hardcore for about 10 years. I have NEVER had issues like I did when I made the mistake of trying these hooks out. They are pure garbage. Hook sets have never been an issue for me, these hooks changed that real quick. Also, I like to easily remove a barb to release my bass, these hooks WILL DESTROY whatever part of the bass they went into, it's like they designed the barbs to kill a fish on they way out. Long story short...DO....NOT......WASTE YOUR MONEY!!!!
